Tuesday, January 31, 2006. We stayed two nights at a beautiful resort called Haad Son on Koh Phenan. Koh Phenan is a bit smaller and less developed than Koh Samui, but still big enough. We had some issues with the resort manangement (email me if you want details), but the spot itself was magnificant. We were able to snorkle right from our front doorstep - imagine! It's a great place to stay, very comfortable, and the food is fantastic. Certainly much better than at my house!

Monday, July 14, 2008. The Smoke that Roars. I've heard of Victoria Falls since forever, but I never thought that much about it. I figured it would be like Niagara, only bigger, and relying somewhat on its reputation. I confess that when our trip was being planned I really wondered if it was worth the separate trip in the airplane to Zambia. But I have to tell you that Victoria Falls is really, really, well and truly magnificant. And awesome. And something to must-see. Posted by Evelyn at 8:25 PM.
