the little green family: Our baby is 1 in 10,000
http://thelittlegreenfamily.blogspot.com/2011/06/our-baby-is-1-in-10000.html
Thursday, June 30, 2011. Our baby is 1 in 10,000. I've tried to write this a few times, but I like the way Chris wrote it to his team at work. So I tweaked it just a little. As some of you may know, the week has been challenging. Last Thursday morning, I had an ultrasound which my sister and Chris were able to attend with me! We went to a specialist for an appt about an hour later (great that they get you in so fast with all these specialists! Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,. Thanks for shari...

Learning to Trust: Life as a Non-Breastfeeding Mom
http://rochelle-learning-to-trust.blogspot.com/2014/01/life-as-non-breastfeeding-mom.html
Through life's difficulties, we can all learn to trust God more. Friday, January 24, 2014. Life as a Non-Breastfeeding Mom. I never imagined anything for my baby except breastfeeding. I was going to do everything in my power to help him breastfeed, and I was devoted to learning plenty about it beforehand. I read books, articles, took classes, talked to friends/family, and so on. And it totally did NOT. It was incredibly disappointing. But we did everything we could. Right away Tim and I mentioned the con...

Learning to Trust: California Fun
http://rochelle-learning-to-trust.blogspot.com/2011/05/california-fun.html
Through life's difficulties, we can all learn to trust God more. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. It's been a weird week. Tim's been working late each night as their company moves {one floor up in their building where there's more space}. I vowed to not work as late this week because last week was so crazy, and I've got too much stuff to do personally, it'll just make me end up in the looney bin if I push too hard {and of course, that'd flare the Fibro}. I mean really, look at that backdrop! As we were leaving S...

Drive through it OSUMB | mominamillion
https://mominamillion.wordpress.com/2014/07/27/drive-through-it-osumb
From one mom (who sometimes feels like a girl) to another. Response to OSUMB experience. Drive through it OSUMB. Posted July 27, 2014 by mtrahyn in Melissa. As a female former member of The Ohio State University Marching Band in the late 90s, I have been heartbroken reading and following online the firing of my friend, Jonathan Waters, and have been compelled to write in his and my beloved OSUMB’s defense here on my blog. I have read the report and the allegations against my friend, Jon Waters and the ba...

Learning to Trust: Life This Summer - Part 1
http://rochelle-learning-to-trust.blogspot.com/2015/08/life-this-summer-part-1.html
Through life's difficulties, we can all learn to trust God more. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Life This Summer - Part 1. We've been having a lot of fun this summer and a good amount of water play! Mosquitos have been quite prevalent after some heavy rains in June and part of July, but thankfully after our county worked with a company to spray our area earlier this summer, they've been a lot better! My Fibromyalgia sensitivities are on high alert lately! My beloved car hit the 100,000 mile mark! My sister-in-l...

My hearts 'n crafts..: August 2014
http://myheartsncrafts.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 29 August 2014. A week-long visit from Rosie and Kaeli, and a late winter beach trip. It's been a bit of a rough week. I came down unexpectedly with a tummy bug last weekend which put me in bed for a few days. I'd forgotten how ghastly it is to vomit and the awful queasiness that goes with it! We DID finally get to take a trip to the beach though and being late winter, it was pretty deserted. Great for "blowing out the cobwebs" and letting Kaeli have a good run! Sarah took some of these photos.

Permission to Shed the Armor. - Leading and Loving It
http://leadingandlovingit.com/leadership/permission-to-shed-the-armor
Permission to Shed the Armor. Posted by Joy Cannis. Noun (pl. heroes). 1 a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. When my man walks through the door, in from the world and all of its toxic arrows, the first thing he should be able to do is shed his armor. I want to. I do. MY will gets in the way. MY clouded perception of who does what and who should do more or less, creeps up. This is not something I’m proud of. Here is the solution...

Friday, February 28, 2014. Update - Oct and Nov. The girls are all growing like weeds here. We had a nice fall. Bella turned 6 and Farrah turned 4! Where does the time go? Here are the girls with Chris, and their Uncle Ryan holding cousin Hollis, and uncle Brian holding Aspen right around Halloween. JJ Turned 5 Months old in November. This one won't quit growing, either. With GG, their cousin Aspen and second cousin Gracie. Rode our bikes or powerwheels on nice days. March 3, 2014 at 7:44 PM. Hallie Lynn...

The God In Between | Candi Pearson Shelton
https://candipearsonshelton.wordpress.com/2014/08/07/the-god-in-between
Finding holy moments in the rat race. The God In Between. Today I wrote a post for the folks over at Perimeter Pointe. They are some really great folks with some really great hearts. I encourage you to check them out. Where does Jesus fit in all of it? What parts are merely hyperbole that I have taken as gospel since I was 5 years old, and what parts are so foundational that I’ve trampled them my whole life without examining what’s under foot? You know, just some light stuff, no big deal. For far too long.
