Sunday, May 31, 2015. Violence against women is headline news and there is much angst about it. However, who will be brave enough to confront some of the things which promote it? Many of the Television shows denigrate women. The internet is also saturated with material designed to degrade a woman’s intrinsic worth. Add to those, certain religions which treat women as objects for men’s pleasure and second-rate citizens. But, why are such attitudes and actions wrong? If so, on what basis are they wrong?

Sunday, July 26, 2015. Why is the Lord so implacable towards Babylon? Mystery Babylon (Revelation 17:5) not only takes Yahweh’s Name in vain, it wants to, plans to, and will fight to claim it. That is why the Scriptures are so loud in their call for people to get out of this city. Its defeat and doom is spelt out in Yahweh’s word. In chapter 23 are these words ‘Oh, that I knew where I might find him, that I might come even to his dwelling! I would lay my case before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. Easter Sunday celebrated with big smile reminding each other that Jesus is alive and of course loads of chocolate Easter eggs, with deliveries from the 'Easter Bunny', the hospital, Ronald McDonald House and all of our visitors. Saturday, May 11, 2013. Our Last Week in Longreach. We are really looking forward to seeing old friends and new ones too. When God spoke to us in Melbourne about bringing us back home and pouring out his blessing, we would never had imagined it would look like this. This last year we have waited and are just so thankful for all he has done. Jack enjoyed celebrating his 7th birthday this week. The lounge has been sold and camping in our house is fun.for now. This afternoon we received the call from the Mater Hospital to tell us that Sam's catheter and surgery have been postponed for a month, until the 20th March. How do I feel about that?
