So the pony has his second recognized event this past weekend (3rd show in the states). He had still only ever been in a dressage ring twice and out on XC three times but you couldn't tell! Pony got braided for the first time ever too! Dressage was decent. It is mostly me needing to ride better in the ring but he is fancy so he ten to get scored well. We ended up ...Well ...

The Rest Comes Later. First Event of the Season! May 20th, 2012 at 4:13 PM. It put us in 3rd place. Again we took our time in warm up, jumped each jump once at the beginning of my warm up and then just lots of walking around and letting him get in the zone. I jumped the oxer one last time before I headed out to the start box. While Skip is usually very mellow under saddle he would not stand still before the start, he knew what was coming. Then we were off! Skinny log at an angle right after the water.
