Adventures in home, life, and parenthood. Saturday, December 12, 2009. I just baked a very tasty breakfast treat for my blueberry loving boyfriend: Blueberry Buckle. It's not the same as the original from Missoula where I went to college and frequented the Shack. For this unbelievable breakfast selection. But I think that's only because I didn't go the extra mile and serve it with warm cream. A mistake I won't repeat next time! Photo courtesy of Alex and Becca. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). But I am feeling good that I've updated my blog two days in row now! Thursday, October 22, 2009. Why do we put things off? Why not just pull off the band-aid and get it done. I love home, making my space in the world and having as many comfortable places to be as possible. And I love hosting people - maybe this is why I've made my career out of creating experiences for other people. I'm a farm-girl, book work, entrepreneur recently relocated from NYC to Las Vegas. And constantly working on how to make a great good place. View my complete profile. Look, look, look.

Adventures in home, life, and parenthood. Tuesday, December 21, 2010. It didn't strike me as odd at all to hear these people asking for help from Santa. Call it the power of positive thinking or prayer or just putting it out there, but any way you look at it there. A real power in just simply "saying" what you want. Maybe there was some magic in that cliff and particular patch of sea. In fact there was probably magic in the whole trip. But I think the real power of the moment was in what it force...That ...

Adventures in home, life, and parenthood. Friday, July 31, 2009. Small, but good. I was taking notes yesterday about things I'd like to blog about (hey, I'm new at this and inherently a bit dorky, so yes, I was taking blog notes! And I wrote a note to myself about the smile of small things. It makes me want to add up and savor all the little things that make me smile. And more than that simply celebrate the fact that there is a smile in the small stuff. Then, when I logged in this morning I had this link.

This is a delayed post from Friday 10/30.after I wrote this post I sat in the Denver airport reading an excellent book for about 2 hours and missed my flight home to Wyoming for the Halloween weekend. Adventures in home, life, and parenthood. Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Max you are an amazing eater - I expect no less of course! Here are the foods you love right now:. Blueberries (at every meal if possible). Pasta - including Low Mein noodles which you had for the first time last night and slurped down like a champ. Scrambled eggs with cheese. Yogurt ( though you don't love it as much now that there is so much food to pick up and eat on your own). And of course the occasional bottle of milk. Picture W...
