Sunday, October 30, 2005. We made it back to Kathmandu on Friday and everyone is doing well. When we walked into Lukla (the town that has the airport for flying to Kathmandu) on Thursday there were 400 people backed-up trying to fly to Kathmandu. For the past two days the weather had been foggy and rainy so they could not fly into Lukla. We have been eating really good and lots of it. We have all lost weight and need to put some back on. Tuesday, October 25, 2005. Well, we made it back to Namche. We have had a great time, seen many things, and had a few sick people. This has been a great trip and everyone is ready to get home. Tuesday, November 01, 2005. Made It Back to Bangkok. We just arrived in Bangkok. We left Nepal at 2:00 PM in the afternoon and after a three hour flight we landed in Bangkok. It was only a three hour flight so we had a good start to out return journey. On Nov 2 we will get to see two sunrises. We arrive in Seoul at 7:30 AM on Nov 2 then our flight to Atlanta gets in at 9:35 AM on Nov 2. This makes for a long day. We will see everyone soon. Posted by dmoore @ 5:26 AM. Sunday, October 16, 2005. Food on the Trek. The food has been pretty good so far. Breakfast - French toast, eggs, pancakes, oat porridge (oat meal), Tibetian bread with honey (I had that this morning), ect. The cheese is Yak cheese (like mozerella (? But a little more flavorful) It is really Nak cheese (a female yak) but everybody says yak cheese.
