Imagine being in a situation where you walk out of a building, only to realise that it is raining very heavily outside which doesn't appear to be stopping anytime soon. The only path to your destination happens to be not sheltered and you realise to your horror that you have forgotten to bring an umbrella. What will you choose to do? A) Wait for the rain to stop (which may take ages). Omg I hate myself.

It seems to me that sometimes when one wishes for something long enough, it is possible to continue wishing for it while forgetting one's initial motivation behind it. The want becomes a habit, like how people tend to choose familiar food to eat, familiar people to be around.

It is amazing how some things doesn't change even after half a year. and to realise how much I missed them for more reasons than I would like to say. More than anything I missed having a leisurely walk, looking at beautiful scenery, having random conversations. Little things that had provided me small comfort in the midst of sadness, confusion and uncertainty. I may not understand what you are going through.
