Mrs. Fawkes' Blog: Turkey Roll Ups?
http://mrsfawkes.blogspot.com/2009/11/turkey-roll-ups.html
Thursday, November 19, 2009. So preschool is having Thanksgiving. I get the idea of simplifying it for the kids.but you know. I remember having real turkey, mashed potatoes, and veggies at my Kindergarten Thanksgiving. My kid's menu reads like this:. Turkey roll ups (lunchmeat slices rolled up), popcorn, cheese cubes, grapes, cupcakes and cookies. Guess who is bringing the turkey rolls ups? I'm wondering if it's really about 'food safety'? Meanwhile, I've read through the Vampire Academy series and I'm onto an even trashier read. I never finished this because I got distracted. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, October 25, 2009. If you are sick, please stay home. I did not make it through mass this AM. At first I was really excited because the church wasn't packed and it was 1030! Adults who have hacking gross wet coughs who just keep coughing. If you can't contain yourself to not coughing through a mass perhaps you should still be home? And if your kid is also hacking up a storm you can completely stay home and take care of them and miss mass and it's not a sin! Links to this post. We've had a really n...

Peters Peapod: Our 6th year of homeschooling
http://peterspeapod.blogspot.com/2010/10/our-6th-year-of-homeschooling.html
Saturday, October 9, 2010. Our 6th year of homeschooling. OKso seriously.I have become a VERY BAD BLOGGER. I have spent so much time focussing. On our new kids and new family dynamic, it is still at the bottom of the list. But I am trying.I will get back to it. But schooling 3-4 kiddos and all.it keeps me busy. Our curriculum (for the big kids) this year includes:. Spelling - Sequential Spelling. Handwriting - Handwriting Without Tears (focus on cursive again). Bible - Precepts for kids - Names of God.
