Living the Dream, Farm Style. Thursday, September 30, 2010. You have been slow in arriving. Even today it is supposed to be nearly 80 degrees! The poor leaves are turning brown and falling off of trees, but it's due to the dryness and not the changing of seasons I'm afraid. The summer ended very hot and arid, and every person I know is ready for the cooler weather. I know I say this every year: Fall is my favorite season! We got over 2 weeks ago! Here he is ready for action at a game back on Sept 8th.

John took the kids fishing on Cave Run Lake, about an hour from us. It is a pristine lake very similar to Lake Ouachita back home, just a lot smaller. Living the Dream, Farm Style. Sunday, November 28, 2010. Thanksgiving was a very quiet affair this year. Since we had planned to leave early Friday for snow skiing, we did not plan to cook a big traditional meal. Our menu was roast chicken, mashed sweet potatoes (from our garden), and green bean casserole (had to do something traditional, I couldn't stand it! So we really weren't up for another long road trip. The lobby area, where the clock tower is. Also, Asher lost his second front (top) tooth tonight!
