First Raspberries - Bits And Bobs

http://everydaybitsandbobs.blogspot.com/2015/07/first-raspberries.html

Thursday, 2 July 2015. This afternoon I remembered to go and check on my raspberries. The raspberry canes were given to me by my Gran a few years ago and they have now multiplied so I should get a good amount this time. The thing is that I usually forget to check them and by the time I remember the birds have eaten most of them. I checked for ripe ones and picked a grand total of 11. I did as my Gran does and popped them in the freezer. I'm determined to beat the birds this year. About Bits And Bobs.

Everything Back To Normal. Wednesday, 28 January 2015. After all the time I spent trying to fix the blog posts I was told how to sort it out very quickly. If the photos had been deleted in the last 60 days (mine were), go in to the account where the photos are stored, retrieve them from the trash and they all go back on to the relevant posts. Sounds really obvious now. These are a few small speedy items that I have made using some free patterns which I found. Key ring for Little L's school bag,. Which I ...

http://everydaybitsandbobs.blogspot.com/2011/10/winter-house.html

Tuesday, 11 October 2011. This week I have been making more of these Christmas trees. 65279; which I made last year and this little winter house decoration. All the pieces are cut from felt and sewn together using tiny straight stitches. Seed beads were sewn on to look like snow. A small length of ribbon was inserted at the top for hanging and it was slightly stuffed before closing. The pieces I made for the house are below. Thank you for the pattern! 12 October 2011 at 19:08. 12 October 2011 at 20:28.

A Cushion Re Vamp - Bits And Bobs

http://everydaybitsandbobs.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-cushion-re-vamp.html

A Cushion Re Vamp. Monday, 18 May 2015. My Mum In Law recently bought a throw which came with two plain fleece cushion covers and knowing that she'd never use them she then passed them to me. This weekend I added bunting to one them using fabric scraps and a length of ribbon. I'm not sure what to do with the other cover yet. Another thing that I made using very little fabric are these small key ring pouches using this tutorial. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). About Bits And Bobs. A Trip To Blackpool.

A Twig In Water: Monkey's Fist Tutorial

http://atwiginwater.blogspot.com/2013/07/monkeys-fist-tutorial.html

A Twig In Water. I am using this space as a home front for my ideas and tutorials. Wednesday, July 10, 2013. One of my students is very interested in knots. He was kind enough to help me make a tutorial of his Monkey's fist lanyard. While searching for interesting knots to tie,the monkey's fist appeared. I tried this elusive knot many times and then stumbled upon the idea of making a jig to hold the golf ball while wrapping.
