The Richardson Rattle: April 2009
http://therichardsonrattle.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2009. This past weekend we went to Arkansas to ride 4-wheelers in the Ouachita mountains. We went with Steven, Seane's brother and his wife Amber, and Terre, Seane's dad. It was a well needed mini, three day get away. The weather was really nice and the mountains were beautiful. We all had a blast. Here's a few pictures. And Terre. Love him! He was a real trooper. Like father, like sons! Back to reality. Home sweet home. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Richardson Rattle: June 2010
http://therichardsonrattle.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 25, 2010. Friends, Fam, Fun, and Fathers. This past Thursday night I met Candy, Ashley and Holly for a cup or two of java and a couple of hours of gab. We laughed. And talked (and laughed) and realized how much we miss each other and being able to hang out more often. When we get together, it seems like we pick right back up, like we haven't missed a beat. There is nothing like true dear friends. I am so thankful for the support group we all have in each other. Alexa, Amber and Kayla. You do...

Forever Glades: May 2014
http://michaelandhbomb.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 31, 2014. The first week in May, we were barely getting into the upper 70's outside. The kids insisted that it was warm enough to go swimming. On a Saturday, I took them to Aerofit to work out then they jumped into the pool afterwards for a freezing swim. I was surprised they lasted so long. They did admit to me at the end that it was still too cold to go swimming. Madison dressed as a Vaquero, a real Texas hero. Madison had her end of year dance recital. This was a pretty intense ordea...

Sonow we come home to her retaliation, a yard full of fowl play. The kids enjoyed playing with the baby chicks. I enjoyed them a little bit until it came time to clean their crate. Forever Glades: November 2013
http://michaelandhbomb.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 3, 2013. Halloween came and went this year with a ton of candy in between. We had a pumpkin carving contest at the clinic and had a lot of fun seeing all the entries. Our staff did a good job and we all had fun competing for the best carving. Our kids thought they should have won, but that didn't happen.just to keep the employees from thinking the contest was rigged. All the kids have fantastic friends and are at the age that sleep overs and parties are becoming the norm. We enjoy se...

Forever Glades: April 2014
http://michaelandhbomb.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. The kids were ready to show these calves what they were made of. Benjamin came over to help us vaccinate, castrate, ear tag and dehorn the calves. The kids helped move them up the shoot and name them, and I wrote down the detailed records. It was a lot of work but it was fun. The kids are picking out the calf they want to ride. Cameron wanted to ride first. He picked out one of the smallest ones. He "saddled" up while Benjamin and Michael held the calf still. Then. While in Pla...

Forever Glades: December 2013
http://michaelandhbomb.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. The Kalfke Family came to visit around Christmas time and we had a great time playing with everyone. I got to take Tysen coyote hunting, but it was so foggy all night long. The only coyotes or hogs we would have been able to shoot were those within 5 feet from us. Not only did Santa eat the cookies and leave a few presents, but he also left a warning for the kids. They were barely good enough to get presents and he told them that unless they got better, there would be no p...

Forever Glades: Ashlyn's World
http://michaelandhbomb.blogspot.com/2014/11/ashlyns-world.html
Saturday, November 15, 2014. Ashlyn received her first award at school. It is titled "Ms. Champion Cheerleader". According to her teacher, Ashlyn is always encouraging the other students in her class and praising them for their accomplishments. She has become quite the big helper in Kindergarten. Her teacher adores her and appreciates all her help and good example. They have four giant "pillows" like below. The kids just bounce on them like trampolines. Here is some of Ashlyn's class. One Day At a Time.
