Thursday, July 18, 2013. 9 months- On the move! 18lb 12oz and 26.5in ( 50th percentile on both) Right on track and perfect! It looks like we will be lowing the crib mattress sooner rather than later. This is the part I don't like about the whole 'mobile' part of crawling/pulling/standing. It becomes so much harder to put her in the crib when it is closer to the ground. Look at my new trick! Mom, sis is playing with 'my' toy. What is she doing? Hair is always up for grabs, and I will chew on it!

Monday, August 19, 2013. First day of Pre-K. Well, it was the first week of Pre-K for Elise. She was so excited! Down side to taking down the tree out front, the front porch is flooded with morning sunlight. Elise was trying to hold her eyes open when I kept telling her to look at me. Even though cheese can be a good source of calcium and some protein, it isn't always the easiest on the waistline. We all know by now that Greek yogurt is a great source of protein and can be used in baking and cooking. Did you know you can turn it into cheese? Once the liquid is drained overnight, you are left with a soft creamy cheese that is about the same consistency as cream cheese.
