Everyday with the Jays. A married girl living up the small town life. Monday, June 16, 2014. Travel] Lone Star Court Review: Austin, TX. For our anniversary, Nathan and I hit the road and traveled 1.5 hours to Austin, TX. We stayed at the beautiful Lone Star Court. Get ready, there are a ton of pictures! Ps this is not an official "review", this is just my opinion! Every room has a small sitting area. The decor is very retro/vintage-esque. We had never stayed anywhere like this before. Be still my heart.

We love the ease, the relaxation of it, the food, and the variety of locations you get to visit. It's like a floating hotel, and who doesn't love staying in hotels? For Spring Break this year, we traveled to the Caribbean with 4 of our dearest friends and our friend's parents (who are also friends of ours)!

Tuesday, December 18, 2012. This year was our first experience at VBS. It was during the week so that meant we had to stay up past our bedtime, but I think it was well worth it. It was so cute watching Oliver get so excited about the songs they were singing and and everything that was going on. Getting ready for the greatest thing ever.
