Every Other Breath Floats…. In life, we live and speak separately. here we blend all breaths. January 31, 2013. The Hope of Glory. Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples and said to him, “Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another? Of all the conversations Jesus has in the gospels, this is one of the most resonating. Look at it. Read it again. Do you see? You, isn’t it? You were preaching about me for years; how could you doubt now?

Every Other Breath Floats…. In life, we live and speak separately. here we blend all breaths. I dont normally write on this, or read it every time, but I have a question. Someone gave me some advice recently to deal with doubt or disbelief. It was “forget everything you know about the Bible and read it as if for the first time”. Brilliant, it’s a concept known in ethics as the Veil of Ignorance. And if you don’t how can you be impartial or rational? May 25, 2013. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. You are comme...

Every Other Breath Floats…. In life, we live and speak separately. here we blend all breaths. Full of abandon, whimsy, and love. If you haven’t read Bob Goff’s book “Love Does,” read it now. I’m accepting the invitation. And it scares me because actually accepting the invitations means experiencing failure and pain and all the things we, I try to avoid. So here’s to a life full of abandon, whimsy, and love. here’s to an endlessly patient God. May 13, 2013. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Laquo; Previous Post.

Every Other Breath Floats…. In life, we live and speak separately. here we blend all breaths. Note: This is NOT a reproach of anyone, but a comment based on my thoughts and the readings I’ve been doing for Senior Bible. I love and respect all of you. I know that baring all to one another is scary, it’s as scary as it gets. If you all know everything about me and my sins, won’t you look down on me, judge me? That would also mean admitting my sins to myself, which is dangerous too). I’m weak. Afr...You are...

Parking on campus can sometimes be a bother. There’s this sort of knowing. But I’ve found that even though I could still easily park in the lot next to my building, I don’t. What Every American Should Know
What Every American Should Know. Sunday, July 22, 2007. WTC #7 was demolished and fell at freefall speed. So did WTC #1 and #2. There is no way building #7 could be rigged with explosives in a timely manner for it to fall at 5pm on 9/11/01, when the attacks occurred only about 8 hours earlier. Also, news that one government agent was in WTC #7 when it was pulled is distressing. If you dump 60,000 gallons of fuel in a pit, and light a match over it, will it burn fuel for an hour? Every Other Blue Moon. Makings and doings, readings and thinkings. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. June 5, 2015. Another day out – we went to Hyde Hall Gardens in April. We’ve been before, but this was easily my favourite time. The gardens were in bloom, and although it was a little windy, there are enough cafes and sheltered spots to make it enjoyable. Once again the photos will show it off better than my words…. Reading lately – May 2015. June 1, 2015. Disciplines of a Godly Family.
