Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad had dressed some of the biggest names on the red carpet (Beyonce, J-Lo, Miley Cyrus), so it's no surprise that his 2010 bridal collection is a masterpiece. He isn't a big name in bridal fashion, but he certainly should be! Go ahead- feast your eyes. Aren't they all gorgeous? Which one is your favorite?

You see, my beloved fianc é is not. Easy to buy for. If I don't plan ahead, I'll have no idea what to get him when the wedding rolls around. So here's what I've been thinking. I love you but GO AWAY NOW! Or you'll lose all back rub privileges for AT LEAST a year! Mac Cufflinks in Classic Blue, $25, via ecrater.com. The F...

Friday, April 1, 2011. Wedding Inspiration: A Fiesta At Carnivale! Dear readers, it can be tough to choose a venue. Once you have your venue locked in, the style of your wedding is also limited. We booked a historic mansion for our wedding because we wanted a wedding that is formal and elegant with a bit of vintage flair. I'm really happy about our decision but I can easily imagine us getting married other places too. One such place is Carnivale. Seriously makes my mouth water! Of course we would have.

I read an interesting tidbit on the royal wedding yesterday: rumor has it that Kate Middleton is doing her own wedding day makeup. I don't know if I'm as brave as Kate. I may go the professional route, if only because it would be less expensive than stocking up on the makeup I'd need be photo-ready on the big day. The stunning Ms. Wilde, via Glamour.com. It's a light serum that makes your skin feel like silk. Y...

a windy city wedding: February 2011
http://windycitywed.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 22, 2011. What About Something Warm? It's snowing outside, again. In fact, this month is Chicago's third snowiest February. On record. All this snow and chilly weather sends me running to my coziest accessories. Right now, that happens to be the thick scarf wrapped snugly around my neck. If I had a fall or winter wedding (mine will be in July, 2012), I'd simply have to wear a scarf. In fact, I wear scarves constantly. From October to April, I can't live without 'em. Don't mind if I do!

Also, I'd be absolutely okay with my wedding party breaking out their best moves during the processional. Are you excited for the royal wedding? I'll admit, I am! I can't wait to see how Will and Kate's wedding influences wedding trends in the coming seasons. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Or Go The Profes.

Reenie Rose: Christmas Surprise Painting!
http://reenieroseblog.blogspot.com/2014/12/christmas-surprise-painting.html
Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Just in time for Christmas, Kaleen and Michael's cotton and Irish bloom-filled painting is finished! Talk about a great story behind this one. Photo by Poppies and Me. Even though their wedding was in May, I think this bouquet has a real winter warmness to it. I kind of forgot to take a few progress shots in the beginning. A gift to share with everyone. Happy holidays to all of my friends, family, co-workers, clients and everyone in-between. February 25, 2015 at 4:17 AM.

Reenie Rose: January 2014

Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Christmas Cleanup and Making More Messes. The studio got painted this past weekend, and all I can say is PINK. I love it and can't wait to show it off in The Everygirl. First Blush by Behr for the studio. It's a pink palace. You know all those Christmas cards you get (yes, I said Christmas)? Supplies: Hole punch, ribbon and cards. I like to punch a whole in the corner of the card that doesn't have someone's face in it…unless they are on the naughty list. With all of my projec...
