THE PERKINS FAMILY: May 13, 2011

Friday, May 13, 2011. After we planted our garden in February Jim went to the hardware store for chicken wire fencing to keep Fluffy (Cadie's rabbit) out. He came home with some nice looking green plastic fencing saying "wire fence is expensive". Well, here we are in May and where is our garden? Scattered around the yard in the form of rabbit dung. THAT Rabbit chewed a few holes through the fencing and gobbled up anything that grew (minus the tomato's he apparently only likes to eat half of).

http://jimlaurelnkids.blogspot.com/2011/04/great-easter-egg-hunt.html
Sunday, April 24, 2011. The Great Easter Egg Hunt. With Grandad and Grandma. So much fun! When I first saw the first picture I thought wow, their grandparents put a lot of orange eggs in that tree and then I realized that was some sort of fruit (oranges? Wow Not a sight I see here in Utah. Very cool. Also the warm weather (we had an inch of snow on our grass this morning)! Maybe well move to AZ. April 26, 2011 at 2:57 PM. The kiddos enjoyed dying eggs at Grandad and Grandma's again this year. I enjoyed snapping pics and Collin enjoyed watching, getting toted around, and being outside. And it was good.

THE PERKINS FAMILY: Aug 30, 2010
http://jimlaurelnkids.blogspot.com/2010_08_30_archive.html
Monday, August 30, 2010. This summer Chris spent a lot of time "cleaning" his room. I was busy with the baby so I didn't suspect much when he was quiet and not arguing with his sisters. Come to find out he had been staging a war in his room. Lego Guys vs. Green Army Guys. Pretty clever! He even had "treasure" that the guys used to buy more weapons. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
