everywhere a craft

Monday, March 2, 2015. One of my favorite Halloween costumes I have ever made was Hedwig for my older son, Cole. Although the costume was a ton of work the time was totally worth it. I used products by Bella Blvd. In neutral tones to mimic the colors in my sons costume. I love that I could finally use some of the feathers I've been holding onto specifically for this layout. everywhere a craft: Spreading Some Love

http://www.everywhereacraft.blogspot.com/2015/02/spreading-some-love.html

Saturday, February 14, 2015. Valentines are probably one of my favorite things to make with my boys. This year they both decided to make the same ones but because my boys go to different schools and one son's school has a strict no candy or junk food policy we had to vary what we put inside them. My little one loaded his fishbowls with colored goldfish. Since he is only in kindergarten it was a great counting activity for him. Purple and blue) and Target brand(red). everywhere a craft: Challenging Myself

http://www.everywhereacraft.blogspot.com/2015/02/linus-is-amazing-organization-that.html

Saturday, February 21, 2015. Is an amazing organization that donates blankets to children in need. This is the second year I am completing a challenge quilt for them. This is on top of spending an entire day sewing at a Blanket Day that is held in Wisconsin. My goal this year was to not only donate my time and complete my challenge quilt but to one up myself by bringing one additional quilt to donate. So on a Saturday in February this is how far I got with my bonus quilt! Saturday, February 21, 2015.

Friday, February 13, 2015. Both of whom got similar dolls for Christmas. So I let my niece pick out the pattern for the bottom and at her dad's request to steer away from pink (I guess he already sees enough of that in his life) we decided to go with the yellow for the bottom. Fabric by Riley Blake. Designed by Bella Blvd. Friday, February 13, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A little about me. Milwaukee, WI, United States. No Do I ever have a project that turns out to be an epic failure?

http://www.everywhereacraft.blogspot.com/2015/03/dress-for-success-part-2.html

Sunday, March 1, 2015. Dress for Success -part 2. So started by making the top of the dress. This pattern is designed so the whole top of the dress is lined which is awesome. Next I started working on the pockets. To guarantee I had the pocket centered I found the middle and pinned from there. Then I added the piping before sewing the pocket panels into the bottom skirt. Now the bottom of the skirt is complete. I added a crocheted heart by Bella Blvd. Designed by Bella Blvd. Sunday, March 01, 2015. No Bu...

she's the crafty neighbor: May 2015

http://kellystarsallthingscrafty.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 2, 2015. Now it's time to be the memory-keeper. Meanwhile, another month has flown by and that means it is time for a new challenge at Scrap It Girl. This month it's all about the stitching/sewing. I did a little bit of both- kind of. I used a faux stitching stamp on the page above and below the title (it's from an old Close to My Heart set called "Stitched Together") and then used a star shape from that same set to be my template for some real stitching. Links to this post. A busy mom to 4...

http://kellystarsallthingscrafty.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 29, 2014. Create with a cookie (almost). At our house, the day after Thanksgiving is reserved for decorating the house for Christmas. This year, I created something new for the kitchen, and it LOOKS good enough to eat. But DON'T (unless you want splinters in your teeth)! Using these adorable gingerbread ornaments from Unique Laser Designs. I made a simple garland with just some ribbon, wooden beads, and twine. And, just for you shoppers, here is a DEAL! We want to see your projects wit...

Saturday, February 28, 2015. He may be an "old man" but my brother is getting a new card! I played along with Scrap It Girls February challenge. And you have a few hours left to play along and follow the "recipe"- -blue, numbers or #, and arrows. Then, get ready for the March challenge reveal. For this card, I faux embossed navy blue numbers and stars and glued them to the front of the navy blue card base where I had also punched out the big "43" (and added dotted paper from behind). Friday, September 19, 2014. Create for the door. Don't let all of these colorful details scare you away from making this Halloween wreath. You can make this wreath in about an hour with some yarn, paper rosettes, glue, micro-glitter, and this Halloween wood design from Unique Laser Designs. First, I wrapped a straw wreath with yarn and then I moved onto the sparkly part of the project. I added some paper rosettes and stars and this wreath is ready for the front door! Links to this post. http://kellystarsallthingscrafty.blogspot.com/2015/04/be-hoppy-now.html

Thursday, April 2, 2015. I actually don't like marshmallow peeps. However, I do like these bunny peeps that I put on these cards. The challenge at Scrap It Girl. For this new month of April is black/white and one other color. With my collection of black/white washi tape in hand (as my background), I whipped up these cards in a jiffy! If you are saving your washi tape for something more special, you could use paper scraps instead.do you have any paper scraps around? Maybe just a few? This is me, Kelly.
