Everywhere Knitting: October 2011
http://everywhereknitting.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
When I can, where I can. Saturday, October 29, 2011. If you miss me so much and want to read what I write, I have been interviewing artists for the Western Folklife Center's blog. It's lots of fun to do, and just about the only thing I'm enjoying at work right now. Check it out. Here's what I've been working on lately. Is finished, but the Beekeeper's Quilt. Trust that if you have a blog, I am still reading your words. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Things Great Danes Eat.
Everywhere Knitting: December 2013
http://everywhereknitting.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
When I can, where I can. Wednesday, December 04, 2013. An update. I moved to San Francisco in August. I love it here, so far. It is nice to be so close to the ocean again. I can walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the city, and I might see porpoises while I'm there! I walk to work, which I love (the walk and the job). All in all, this is a good time to be me. For 825,000 people? That said, I think Imagiknit has every yarn ever made, so it's not like we are lacking in actual yarn. I taught a cowo...
Everywhere Knitting: March 2013
http://everywhereknitting.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
When I can, where I can. Wednesday, March 20, 2013. I was catching up on some other blogs yesterday and many of them had apologies for not posting in a while. I guess I'm not the only one who let February get away from her! Here are a couple of the latest FOs. Made from leftovers from a cowl and some baby things. More of the same leftovers, plus some other stash yarn. Legwarmers for Sarah. One of these days I'll mail them to her. The pattern is Laced Legwarmers. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
Everywhere Knitting: May 2011
http://everywhereknitting.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
When I can, where I can. Monday, May 09, 2011. I'm so glad it's Spring. The daffodils next to my front porch make me smile every day. I can't wait for the tulips. The flowers outside my door are later than the others in the courtyard, so we get to enjoy their beauty longer. I invite all of you on Ravelry to look at my projects page. Brian and I went to San Francisco, and now the city is on our minds. I noticed so many wooly cowls in San Francisco. I'll post photos soon, probably after Honey is fi...
Everywhere Knitting: July 2011
http://everywhereknitting.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
When I can, where I can. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. By author and artist Teresa Jordan. I have a lot of rage these days (perhaps my next, thoughtful post will connect my rage and knitting), so the lessons Teresa teaches in her post may become useful to me. I find all of Teresa's posts to be well researched and relevant. They are long and take careful reading, but they are always worth it. Here is a picture from my latest trip, just for good measure. Lynn Making Stuff: June 2006
http://lynnbarnett.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
This blog catalogs some things I've made. Mostly knitting. Well, I said I would post an update on the baby sweater, and here it is. It's almost done! My next project will be another shrug - the braided cable shrug, seen here. In Blue Sky Cotton. This is going to be a gift for a friend, and I'm excited to get it started! In other news, today I had a radically productive day. As we are soon moving to a smaller apartment in the fall, we need to get rid of stuff! Posted by Lynn at 6:30 PM. They are making a ...
Lynn Making Stuff: July 2005
http://lynnbarnett.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
This blog catalogs some things I've made. Mostly knitting. What's been taking up all my free time? I'm currently making a shrug with bell sleeves, out of this crazy recycled yarn made from left-over sari fibers (mostly silk). I got it on ebay, and the same type of yarn in my nearby fave knitting shop. Is of much better quality. Well, i suppose you get what you pay for. That's ok, I'm learning, and the stuff I got wasn't too terrible. I'm about half done with the shrug. Posted by Lynn at 11:07 PM.

Thursday, November 29, 2007. A quick post tonight to celebrate the fact that I have a new blog address - actually it's an old blog address, but resurrected because I like it better than the old new one. Consider this a second generation blog, 2.0, new and improved. I spent the evening at the DLC. Thursday, November 29, 2007. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Nevada in the middle of everywhere. Sunday, August 27, 2006. How Joseph talks like a Frenchman. Studied his children like little linguistic lab rats. Of course, that’s not the only mistake of Joseph’s that I find amusing. Some other cute little errors of interest:. He uses the word from every time he wants to say for. For example, as he hands me something, he will say, This is from Mommy. Or earlier today he said, That car seat is too small from Joseph. Posted by jennifer at 2:19 PM. Friday, August 11, 2006. I was trying to avoid word veri...

http://infiniteparentheses.blogspot.com/2008/02/secret-is-out.html
Tuesday, February 12, 2008. The secret is out. Do you keep a blog? Yes, you do. Or a journal. Or something. C'mon, yes you do. Maybe I've already found it, and I've been reading it all along. But this one. This one I didn't know about (although I had my suspicions ). Anyway, she sent me this award and now her cover is blown. Welcome to the living, Shedding the Wolf! And thank you for sending this award my way. And now, to whom do I bestow this lovely honor? Posted by jennifer at 8:50 PM. Word of the year.

http://infiniteparentheses.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2006. These pictures were taken last year, of course. Posted by jennifer at 8:25 AM. Tuesday, February 14, 2006. Joseph took a couple of years off my life this past Sunday when he burned his fingers and knuckles, forcing us to take our first (and who knows, maybe he’ll be a careful kid, and maybe it will be our last) trip to our local urgent care facility. That’s when it all happened. Joseph ran over to the storage drawer (did I mention that the oven was ON? And tried to open it....

Saturday, July 29, 2006. Yo no soy marinero. Soy capitan. Joseph is definitely a toddler. I had this thought several months ago, but I had no idea what was in store. At 20 months, he is starting his terrible twos. One of his most frequently used words is, of course, no. Sometimes it comes out strong, like he is scolding us. No! He’ll say. And sometimes it’s a long, dragged-out nnnnoooooooo. Other times it’s in the middle of a whine or a cry. Every diaper change has become a war. Tuesday, July 25, 2006.

January 6, 2017. Five for Friday: My Favorite Blogs for Home Decor Inspiration. January 6, 2017. I have always loved seeing people’s homes- my first question upon arriving at a friend’s house is usually ‘Can I have a tour? 8217; I think there is something so special and intimate about being invited into a person’s home, and getting to see the way they live- their pictures on the wall, their mementos from places they’ve traveled, their perfectly squished in couches. When I can, where I can. Saturday, February 18, 2017. I had been thinking about a post about perseverance when I read a beautiful post by Knitting Linguist. That said everything I wanted to say about knitting and linked it to politics in a way I never could have. Thank you, Jocelyn, for your words. So this post will just be my annual, albeit overdue, tally of last year's knits. 5 Pairs fingerless mitts. 4 Gifts hard to categorize. 2 Adult sweaters (for me! Friday, October 14, 2016. Everywhere Land
The dark nights gave me my dark eyes. I use them to look for light. Saturday, June 26, 2010. Dude, where's my city? New York hay Hà Nội? Where’s your city? Where’s your country? Nhưng tôi nghĩ là tôi không tiếc về quyết định này (nhưng kể ra đôi khi cũng thấy tiếc tiếc...
