Evestigation

Sunday, August 02, 2015. A first of firsts. This week was a little quieter as we mostly stayed in town. We went to the park, and the library, and enjoyed the cooler than usual temperatures (but higher than usual humidity, ugh). Summer swim team finished up for Andrew and he had his final swim meet Friday. He's not super fast (read: he came in last in most of his heats), but he had a good attitude about it. And frankly, the kid could stand to *not* be good at something. And Oliver pooped in the potty!

Evestigation: October 2014

http://www.evestigation.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 23, 2014. My apologies for being MIA for last week's post- we were out of town, and I typically don't like to post then because, well, I'm paranoid. Also, I was on vacation. The kids had a week off school for fall break and, coincidentally, we had a couple of days off at the university, so we took advantage of Bubby and Poppy's condo and spent three lovely days in the sunny southern part of the state. We took the kids to Snow Canyon for the first time. They loved the sand dunes. I think...

Evestigation: A week of mini-getaways

http://www.evestigation.blogspot.com/2015/07/a-week-of-mini-getaways.html

Sunday, July 26, 2015. A week of mini-getaways. We spent nearly half of this week out of town (and the house currently bears witness to that! Thursday night, Dan and I saw the new Ant Man. Movie I wasn't thrilled about a movie starring a man who can shrink to ant size and lead hordes of ant armies, but we were celebrating Dan's birthday early so I let him choose. I was pleasantly surprised! Friday, we loaded the kids into the car for another mini getaway, this time, to Mesquite. We had dinner at a Mexica...

Evestigation: February 2015

http://www.evestigation.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 22, 2015. It snowed this morning! For the first time in weeks. We've been living in this bizarre bubble of warmth (50-60* highs) while the East coast is getting hammered. The kids were so excited that they insisted on "helping" Dan clear the sidewalks this morning. I think Andrew might have helped- the other two just took sleds down our little backyard hill. And the other crazy thing for this week- if you're on Facebook, you already saw my announcement. But if not, this happened:. Someti...

Evestigation: April 2015

http://www.evestigation.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Sunday, April 26, 2015. This week was fairly quiet. Dan and I finished classes for the semester. Finals are this week. Sometimes I wonder if students realize that professors are as excited for the end of the semester as they are. I enjoy teaching, but sometimes the grading gets to be a bit much. After a mild spring, the week turned cold and blustery again. We've had rain *and* snow today. (Oh, and hail). At least it brings much needed moisture with it. It said. Dear Arrow, All yours. Oh my! Oh no a wolf!

Just another WordPress.com site. Monthly Archives: September 2014. September 30, 2014. This month was more of a “settling” month, and by that I mean “settling into a new routine.” Cayden started High School, Ashlyn started Jr. High, Dylan is the oldest in the elementry so he’s now leading the “walking home” group, Jackson has more homework, Alison began preschool and Megan now officially ended naps- which was a big adjustment for both of us! So many good things, but it all takes getting used to. Almost e...

A Bowl Full of Cherry's: March 2015

http://janacherry.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

A Bowl Full of Cherry's. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Katie made this awesome "Pin the tail on the cougar" for her BYU themed birthday party. She also made an awesome treasure hunt for the others where they found the cake ingredients and we spent Sunday morning decorating. She's so fun! Matty models her new jammies. The girls had fun making and playing with marshmallow fondant. Ally did an especially awesome job on the cougar, I think. Thinking really hard about her wish. Proof that I shared, once or twice.

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: Pre-Christmas Fun

http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013/12/pre-christmas-fun.html

Monday, December 23, 2013. Put up the tree, and the holidays begin! Nothing brings on the Christmas spirit more than a few rounds of family Mafia. My boys love being able to join in with the adults now. There's always lots of arguing, but when the game is over, the Christmas spirit is back. How mad can we really be.we're all smiling! Who else, besides Calla, would think to use a plastic hoe to build a snowman! The only picture I got of frosting cookies: Tanner licking up all the leftover sprinkles. Stran...

THE COOK FAMILY CHRONICLES: May 2013

http://jontashacookfam.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 31, 2013. End Of School Wrap Up. With school coming to a close, I realized there are a few little things I wanted to remember. One Sunday when we were out of church early we decided to go walk around the temple before going to Nana and Grandpa's for dinner. Apparently the Mt. Timpanogos temple grounds are closed on Sundays. So we went to the Provo temple. I have such great memories of this temple! Nathan's graduation. Does he really have to move on to Junior High? Nathan and Miss Weathers&#46...

http://megandjonandmore.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Newlyweds attempting to finally live the life they've always dreamed of. Getting married was the first step, step #2 is now toddling about, making messes and life interesting, what will step #3 be- stay tuned and find out! Sunday, June 6, 2010. Tonight, at 7:30pm, my newest little boy will be four weeks old. And this is his first mention on the blog. I have good excuses as I always do, but for now, suffice it to say (or is it "sufficeth to say"? I've always wondered).I had my baby! And he's a cutie!

Getting married was the first step, step #2 is now toddling about, making messes and life interesting, what will step #3 be- stay tuned and find out! Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety-Jog. I was really worrying about my garden, so it's great to see that it's doing well and growing big, and we even had lettuce for a salad our first night back! I can eat weird Megan food like salad for breakfast again. There's a...
