Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Kaitlin's eleven months old! She's got two lower teeth and two upper ones, and a third one growing both on lower and upper jaws. She's a biter! Although she's a charmer, I could see this baby's a fighter, too. She fights to get her food! She fights for her toys when Ate Lia has 'em. She fights to get her breast milk! P (Yes, I am still breastfeeding her. Yay! One more month to go and she's a year old. Soon, another toddler to discipline. Hahaha!

Thursday, July 10, 2008. I didn't imagine I could be this Mom who'd be screaming her lungs out over her kid's bad/naughty/disobedient deed. I've always imagined, since I was an innately patient person, that I'd discipline my kids with a "come-here-and-let's-talk-about-it" style. That imagination quickly faded away. Monday, October 06, 2008. Time of the month again! Aside from Christmas and birthdays, Lia loves this event, too: Halloween! Last Saturday we went shopping for the kids' costumes. Luckily, I stumbled upon a Bumblebee and Company stall at the Powerplant Mall. I found what I was looking for! A li'l devil costume for Kaitlin, and a cute purple-and-orange witch costume for Lia. It will be Kaitlin's first trick-or-treat. Hope she likes it! Musings and fussings of a first-time Momma.

Wednesday, January 02, 2008. She's really a girl! We had our 4D ultrasound last week. I brought Lia, my mom, and Neil with me. I was in the ultrasound room for about 1.5 hours. The ultrasound center, InMyWomb. Had a viewing area- a large flat screen TV and a bench- for companions. First impression: baby Kaitlin looked like Lia! At least her chin and lips were like Lia's. We're just not sure about her nose; I thought she got her dad's (lucky her). Musings and fussings of a first-time Momma. We had our 4D.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Gave birth to Kaitlin Ava last February 22! She weighed 6.4 lbs. :). Neil and I were up early last February 22, because we had to be at the hospital before 6AM. My OB-Gyne was a morning person; she wanted to do the surgery at 7AM! So I had to be in before then for the preps. And asked how I was. Sunday, July 01, 2007. Lias first musical/theater experience. Originally uploaded by micaela. Last night, Lia and I went to Meralco Theater, to watch Disney's High School Musical on stage. The tickets were gifts from Tita June. It was a gift for Lia's birthday, but the good friend that she is, she included me in her ticket purchase- -thanks soooo much! First sign of boredom: when the show didn't start on time. "Mommy, WHERE IS Gabriella? People around us laughed at my starstruck kid.

Thursday, March 27, 2008. Kaitlin turned one month old last week! So far she’s been—feeding. Yes, forever feeding! I’m purely breastfeeding her (no formula milk! And when she’s not at my breast, she’s gulping down the milk I pump—fast. Hence, whenever I need to go out, I’m always rushing, because Kaitlin always finishes the milk I pump even before I am scheduled to come home. I have yet to find a solution for this (hahaha, I guess more milk to pump should be it). Sigh Being a parent is really hard work!
