Life in the Slow Lane: February 2013
http://auntweed.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Life in the Slow Lane. Disney Dance Dance Revolution. Followed by some power juicing. And some arts and crafts. There was a little tent city in our front room. And we did breakfast at IHOP. Where they let us celebrate Logan's birthday a little bit early! It really was a good time, and I hope we get to do it again! Being able to listen to Sister Virginia Pearce is always a privilege. She discussed the choices we get to make and how we handle having too many choices - do we get paralyzed or dissatisfie...

Life in the Slow Lane: June 2012
http://auntweed.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Life in the Slow Lane. Yes, I was excited. Actually, by this point in time, it was just a relief to have it over with. Before the move, it was time to weed out some things, including all of these animals that found a new home:. Fortunately, Brian and Hollie's family really likes stuffed animals, so they took them in. I would prefer to have them go to family than just take them to the DI. Apparently, a few of them were already staked out before I left them with them to take home. Labels: makes you think.

Life in the Slow Lane: August 2012
http://auntweed.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Life in the Slow Lane. Brigham City Temple Open House. Grabbing a quick snack before the little movie before actually entering the temple. Some of the beautiful flowers around the grounds. Temple spires. It was very difficult to get a picture of the full temple so I did what I could. I loved the view through the trees. Later in the day, a storm rolled through. The clouds were just beautiful and pretty while we were there. Kids playing a little bit in the fountain. Book Club 2 - August 2012. For somewhere...

Life in the Slow Lane: September 2012
http://auntweed.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Life in the Slow Lane. Book Club 1 - September 2012. The last live broadcast on Polish Radio, on September 23, 1939, was Chopin's Nocturne in C# Minor, played by a young pianist named Wladyslaw Szpilman, until his playing was interrupted by German shelling. It was the same piece and the same pianist, when broadcasting resumed six years later. The Pianist. It is too personally painful. The rest of us have no such excuse. Tony Beltran and Chris Wingert. Yordany Alvarez is hanging out at the end table.

Life in the Slow Lane: March 2013
http://auntweed.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Life in the Slow Lane. March 2013 Books - it was a slow month. Twelve-year-old CeeCee is in trouble. For years she’s been the caretaker of her psychotic mother, Camille— the crown-wearing, lipstick-smeared laughingstock of an entire town. Though it’s 1967 and they live in Ohio, Camille believes it’s 1951 and she’s just been crowned the Vidalia Onion Queen of Georgia. Few novels ever swept across the world with such overpowering impact as Les Misérables. Is not only superb adventure but a powerful social ...

Life in the Slow Lane: January 2012
http://auntweed.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Life in the Slow Lane. Book Club 1 - January 2012. We went to another classic for the other book club. Is it bad to admit that I am not sure that I had ever hear about this one before? I had a really hard time getting into it and was actually really relieved when I discovered I was not alone when we had our discussion. I think I actually liked it a little bit more after the discussion, but probably won't be reading it again either. Book Club 2 - January 2012. Girl With a Pearl Earring. Has exerted a part...

Life in the Slow Lane: April 2012
http://auntweed.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Life in the Slow Lane. Book Club 1 - April 2012. In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort. Written for J.R.R. Tolkien’s own children, The Hobbit. Book Club - April 2012. Is your book. I want to read some of her other ones - if for no other reason than I love their titles. Another Soccer Weekend, minor.
