That was probably needlessly traumatic for both J and me, I believed that decision was a mistake. I still believe that the induction was probably unnecessary and that at a minimum, I was a victim of an OB’s semi-irrational fear of legal liability (if not something more sinister) rather than the recipient of care that was indisputably in the best interest of myself and my baby. If it was up to me, we would go back to the horse and buggy days. I would make a great Amish farm wife. Which is why I just don’t get why keeping young children rear-facing and/or in a five-point harness is considered controversial. Seriously, I am mystified by this concept.
