I start asking myself why didn't I challenge myself more when I was young and resilient rather than waiting until my 30's? For me, the flashiness of the band detracts from the point of worship. I want to join together as one to sing praises to God but I find myself focusing on the people up the front like it's a concert. This is a bit belated, but here are some pics of our recent visitors to London - Kingos in early July and then the Dixons in late July/August. Kingos' visit inspired a trip to sunny Brighton with the Forts, complete with a long lunch and a wander around the cheesy Brighton Pavilion. With our ski working holiday coming to a close we spent the last week cleaning the chalet, catching up with friends and trying to get as much skiing and boarding in as we possibly could! The clean up itself was a pretty almighty task. The top 3 worst jobs would have to be;. 1 - Cleaning the industrial sized overhead fan - it's amazing how much grease that builds up in this sucker after cooking for 18 people, 6 days a week!
