Monday, November 5, 2012. Busy times around here! Anyway, Jayden is doing AMAZING! He's eating better, for sure. Last week he ate (and loved! Some teriyaki chicken with broccoli. He also loved some BBQ shrimp and green beans on Saturday night. We are working on switching him from his absolute favorite cereal in the ENTIRE world, Fruity Pebbles (yikes! To Cinnamon Chex. I have directed the musical at my school for the past three years. We have 3rd-8th grade students involved, and I love it! We've been working hard for the past two months preparing for the curtain to go up TONIGHT! The kids have been doing a fabulous job and I am so proud of them. It's fun to see this show come to life.

She has actually known this for some time, but I finally recorded it. Please excuse the food in her mouth and the cubbies vest. Someone was not staying in cubbies for the night and therefore had to go out with mommy and daddy to our Valentine's Day dinner.at Chipotle. I know you are all very jealous. ha! Found here on Amazon.

It is a great time for the children to learn Bible verses, about the Word of God, and make new friends. Monday, April 25, 2011. I've been meaning to post this update for a few weeks now, but it's just been so busy lately! But get ready to have your socks knocked off! Jayden is like an entirely different child! Listening (both at home and in public), talking through his frustrations, reasoning, calmly removing himself from stressful situations without having fits, attending to activities in class, no behavior reports from school in THREE WEEKS! Thursday, July 7, 2011. My poor, neglected blog. WhoaI have seriously neglected my precious blog, but boy do I have an excuse! The first trimester SUCKS! I remember foolishly telling my grandmother that I would smile every time I barfed b/c I'm just soooo happy to be pregnant. Silly old me! Well, actually, I did smile the first few times. Thursday, April 26, 2012. Back to bloggin ;). As soon as I typed in the title, the baby woke up from his nap, so this will be shorter than intended! So, life is wonderful, yet busier, with two boys! Friday, March 11, 2011. Huge update on Jayden. First thing's first.Jayden hasn't had any visible seizures since JANUARY! We had a followup visit with his neurologist on last week and it was a 5 minute visit! On the medicine front, he is almost completely weaned off of ALL unnecessary medications! He is currently taking 2ml of Trileptal in the AM and 4ml at night. This is a tremendous decrease from the 9ml twice a day that he had been taking for months! It's in my shoe! Thursday, March 7, 2013. Coming up for air. Life with 2 kids, school, work, etc! It's hard, y'all! Jayden is everything a 6 yr old boy is supposed to be! Um, yeah, I had the same? But whatever. He's thriving and I'm not getting the daily phone calls like I was last school year. And then there's the other little boy! He dances and kicks in my arms when the bus pulls up and screams "JAYDEN! Thursday, August 18, 2011. He's SO EXCITED about school! It's been 4 days now and he hasn't cried one bit. He gets out of the truck with no problem in the carpool line and when we pick him up after school he either flashes us the HUGEST smile or looks like he is not ready to come home (b/c he's had too much fun at school!
