http://nomadicforever.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Amazing things seen or done. Gear and what to pack. Sunday, March 1, 2015. How Granada has “ruined” my life forever. I have been living in Granada for almost a year (in total). I left for three months which ended up being a short holiday in Eastern Europe (specially Poland and the heart shaped country, Lithuania), which is no secret that I love it there. These are (some of) the reasons why living in Granada has ruined my life forever:. It’s cheap as fuck. You can walk everywhere. Nature, nature everywhere.

Hitchhiking Stories: Faith in humanity, restored
http://nomadicforever.blogspot.com/2015/08/faith-in-humanity-restored.html
Amazing things seen or done. Gear and what to pack. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Faith in humanity, restored. So there I was, trying to get some sleep before sunrise and it was before sunrise that my small bagpack was gone. Alone with some important (but replaceable) stuff. What was not replaceable were the photos I took earlier that day in the next village to Lagos. Did I read correctly? Somebody found my bag! I couldn't thank enough this guy. There were some things missing (obviously money, but it was...

Hitchhiking Stories: gear and what to pack
http://nomadicforever.blogspot.com/p/gear.html
Amazing things seen or done. Gear and what to pack. Gear and what to pack. I'm not saying that this is the perfect packing list but this is what I pack. Since I move from place to place and from season to season, I have to carry my winter stuff in warm weather. This happened to me last year when I was in South America. This is what I pack in my 50L 10 Salewa backpack now that I'm back on the road:. 1 pairs of jeans. 1 pair hiking trousers. Water proof hiking shoes. Chuck Taylors for everyday use. Might s...

Tuesday, 3 November 2015. Fish, baked potato and vegetables, toddler meal - recipe. As we try to make give our son the same food as we eat, I often just give him his meals that have same ingredients as us, but try to make it in a healthier version and add less salt. Luckily he likes fish and I always try to give it to him twice a week. 1 piece of white fish. 2 tbsp vegetable oil. 1/2 cup boiled vegetables. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Chicken over rice - recipe. Pomegranate and feta cheese salad.

Alan on The Road: Friendly Maramures
http://alanhynek.blogspot.com/2012/07/friendly-maramures.html
Alan on The Road. Another blog about adventures on the road. Not really interesting. Go away. After spending most of our trip in rural areas, we decided to try something else. We found CS host in Baia Mare - north of where we were. On our way to Turda I lost my mobile phone. Then we managed to hitch very slow ride. It was about 39 degrees in a shade and the van was overloaded. Long story short, we spent next day on CouchSurfing trip to discover Maramures region. Gate - the bigger and fancier the better.

Alan on The Road: May 2012
http://alanhynek.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Alan on The Road. Another blog about adventures on the road. Not really interesting. Go away. Last few weeks was marked by seeking travel companion. Not much luck till now, but second candidate dragged me to Poznan, capital city of Greater Poland, crowds, traffic jams, pollution, noise. Something I generally avoid. Few days ago I decided to try cycling as an alternative way of travelling. There was no special plan apart of heading South-West. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Are you a RAT? Send me a letter.
