Friday, January 1, 2010. New Year's Eve Day. Very pretty day. It was actually cloudy yesterday, but today is a bright and glorious day. So I used a happy picture. I tooled around the house doing odds and ends, like fixing one of the many 'guns' in our house. This was after I cleaned out the closet. Threw away a lot of stuff. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Day 3 Camp Meme 2010. Day 3 has been a hard day for camp Meme. Laundry had to be done, (Boys seem to attract dirt and stains.) I had to go into the office to work on immediate insurance issues and Obi had to go to a funeral. But today we had a Mexican dinner with all kinds of great food. When kids tell you they looooove. A certain food, maybe you should check with their parent. Pesto and Guacamole are both green, but totally different foods! We went to the OBU. Ah, it is Mi.

It’s the imaginary account of a businessman who receives and invitation to a nice restaurant to share a meal with Jesus of Nazareth. While the style of the story is somewhat akin to Twilight Zone. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Camp Meme Day 4, Knives and cooking. Wy seems interested and seemed to know a lot about the knives that were presented. The lecture was "What is the best knife to have for survival? There were big knives, little knives, pointed knives and blunt end knives. Wy was of course knowledgeable about so many and how they were used in military campaigns. The heat gets everyone and thank goodness for brothers. Did you ever see such love? Thursday, March 26, 2009. Here is the castle that is above Jemimah's town. It is an old castle and is in disrepair and of course we had to see it on a rainy day. Jemimah says that their are little plays and festivals during the summer time. It is still beautiful. The castle is build on limestone such as this. Looks pretty strong. The wall that you see as you come up to the castle. A video of the town from the top of the castle. Jemimah is game for all kinds of adventure so up we went. Links to this post.
