Wednesday, April 1, 2015. We are now down to counting DAYS until our little granddaughter makes her appearance! It's been really fun to spend more time with Emma as she is now "retired" and just waiting for her sweet little bundle of joy to arrive. She and Nick are so very excited and ready to welcome their precious little girl. All my babies came between 37-38 weeks (and the smallest was 8 lb 3 oz) so we're hoping there is an "early baby" gene that I passed on to her! The e-wife, Karen. The e-wife, Karen.

Friday, June 6, 2014. If you're not a Princess Bride fan, you may not get my title! I'm finally getting around to blogging about our little puppy girl Buttercup who we've had A MONTH already! She's doing so well and is a good little girl. Don't get me wrong- it's a lot of work (and it's tiring) to have a puppy who has a "schedule." It's almost like having a baby! We were very pleased that she came to us with the skill of sleeping through the night (PTL! First day home - 8 weeks, 8 lb. Fun with sissy Missy.

Wednesday, January 28, 2015. WDW: Probiotic Power Punch! It's sickie season, and though I usually escape illness fairly well, this season I've gotten a couple of mild colds and a nasty infection. Except I sub in maple syrup for the sweetener in the above). I'm a HUGE fan of raw dairy products, and we are fortunate to have Organic Pastures. Dairy here in California (and we are fortunate that raw dairy is LEGAL! My local Sprouts market sells their products, including their raw kefir. 2 Tbsp. chia seeds.

Now that they are married it is extra special to be able to spend extended time together. We have vacationed in San Clemente every summer since we got married. Thursday, April 23, 2015. Today was her due date, but little miss Darsy Claire Steadman made her grand entrance into this world on April 21, 2015 at 12:31 am. She is now home and they are so enjoying their new little party of 3. Darsy was healthy and weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 1/2" long. Labor and delivery were fantastic, and both mom and baby are doing so well. Emma is such a natural at motherhood. I'm so proud of her.
