Laquo; Micro-pubbing in Margate. Here come the Belgians ». The Rhythm Riot this year was tops for taste. Cool bands, cool DJs, cool people. I heard a few people belly aching about some of the music, but balls to them I had a great time. Nikki Hills version of Whole lotta Rosie could well have been the highlight. And everything came to a wonderful frothy head when she piloted her very own brew a couple of weeks ago. It was made at Gadds Ramsgate Brewery as part of the International Womens Collaboration Brew Day. Brewsters (lady brewers) from around the world collaborated to brew the same base recipe at the same time. The lady-themed launch night was in the New Inn.

Tuesday, February 5. This blog actually started in 2007, was abandoned, then restarted properly in March 2008, almost exactly five years ago. In that time, it has attracted 1,102,561 page views. Yeah, I know. It's not the best or coolest out there, but it has been consistent: I've tried to post something on most days. And this funny little page has become home: a bit shabby, with a few jobs I've been meaning to do for years but never got round to. But now it's almost time to say goodbye. We LOVE your blog.
