Archive for November, 2012. All in Good Time. As I write, the second attempt of fixing my roof is going ahead. Laughable really as one chap has turned up this morning, I have pointed to the problem areas and have not seen hyde nor hair of him since. In the words of Phil Collins – its just another day in Paradise. I have had 2 ear infections since arriving from diving and it only appears to to present itself after diving at a particular site. Should I stay or should I go…. I find myself emotionally torn. In two minds about the recent and perhaps slightly rash decision I have made. I decided that my health was more important to me than my stubbornness to stay on the island. I gave her liquids again and instructed her owners (one of which was a little boy of about 9 years old) to bring her to my place in a box with something soft to lay on, after I had eaten dinner and I told them I would stay up all night to make sure this babe would get fluids that she needed. The doctor I spoke to here ( a qualified one? It costs from 6 – 10 USD to get to PP via a 4 – 6 hour bus ride. My only hope is that I don’t need to go to the loo and that I don’t break wind – follow through is a bitch! And being on a bus full of people for hours will not be pleasant!
