Doggie Dojo: It's Your Thing, Do What You Wanna Do
http://doggiedojo.blogspot.com/2011/02/its-your-thing-do-what-you-wanna-do.html
Monday, February 7, 2011. It's Your Thing, Do What You Wanna Do. I need reasons and justifiable proof. When I was told “you can’t do that”, I reacted with my natural stubborn tendency to say “why the hell not? Video 1: Marcus Topps and Juice, AKA my agility gods. They have won more awards and championships than you can shake a Frisbee at. Watch how Marcus, a tall man, stays connected to his dog. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Doggie Dojo: On Becoming a Pruett
http://doggiedojo.blogspot.com/2012/05/on-becoming-pruett.html
Monday, May 14, 2012. On Becoming a Pruett. I suppose I should begin this blog just before the big event. After passing me to Buster and exchanging hugs and handshakes, I faced my husband to be, who had tears in his eyes. This meant I had won the betting pool with my girls, although he had already assured them that it was just the sun in his eyes. The fact that he is a sentimental romantic is just one of the many reasons I was standing before him to begin with. Our reception following was fun and laid ba...

Doggie Dojo: April 2013
http://doggiedojo.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 12, 2013. Never a Dull Moment. My apologies for the disappearing act, as I haven’t actually fallen off the planet. Life has been a little crazy in the last couple of months. We had an unexpected house guest that threw everything a bit out of orbit, however, I think that issue has been resolved and will hopefully not arise again. He also directed a disc golf tournament which basically hijacked his life for several weeks, and an entire weekend. She was celebrating her 31. Speaking of Trudy, s...

Doggie Dojo: The Proposal
http://doggiedojo.blogspot.com/2011/02/proposal.html
Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Floor room overlooking the pool/lagoon area. Simply breathtaking. Buster insisted that we bring the camera so that we could have our pictures taken in front of the “iconic” Universal Studios globe outside the park. I chuckled and said “ok, sure.”. In the large crowd, my instinct was to be reserved, so I kissed him daintily on the cheek while our overseas friend snapped a picture. That was apparently not acceptable as she yelled “No! The other one, the other one! The next morni...

Doggie Dojo: January 2013
http://doggiedojo.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 28, 2013. So Far, So Good. Safelite came out one Saturday morning, replaced the windshield in less than an hour, and viola! Good as new. Actually better than new, since the new windshield has more tinting along the top and blocks the sun better. The mind does funny things when there is pressure to perform. Buster just reminded me that my birthday is coming up. Didn't I just have one of those? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Back in the Saddle. The Designer Dog Debate. Last evening, I was fort...

Doggie Dojo: The Drug I Can't Give Up
http://doggiedojo.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-drug-i-cant-give-up.html
Saturday, July 20, 2013. The Drug I Can't Give Up. Ok, so apparently I needed some time away and a chance to adjust my attitude, because now I find myself missing agility. (Surprise, surprise). Being on Facebook makes it difficult to remove that part of my life because virtually all of my friends are posting pictures of agility, videos of agility, talking about agility, etc. At first I found this annoying. Then I thought, hey, there are some dogs having fun. Finally someone posted this video:. Ok, ok, I ...

Doggie Dojo: Back in the Saddle
http://doggiedojo.blogspot.com/2013/09/back-in-saddle.html
Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Back in the Saddle. The weekend began with my brilliant idea of camping/sleeping in my van, however, the 90 degree temps and hordes of mosquitoes made that a nightmare. Somehow we survived Friday night and still managed to function on Saturday. Thankfully, my wonderful friend Terri who lives in Tampa graciously offered us a place to stay Saturday night that was insect free and air conditioned! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Doggie Dojo: Happy Times
http://doggiedojo.blogspot.com/2012/10/happy-times.html
Sunday, October 21, 2012. Sorry I have been lax about updating. Again, I cannot access this site at work, which is terribly frustrating since that is prime blogging time; and at home, I am kept thoroughly occupied with Trudy. We also had an amazing save on the weave poles. Actually, we had three somewhat miraculous weave entries yesterday, which I must attribute to Susan Garret's 2x2 method and all the time we've spent practicing wacky angled entries. Thanks Susan! Now we only need ONE MORE for our title!

Wednesday, October 30, 2013. A Breath of Fresh Air. At any rate, it has been a busy month. Buster and I traveled to North Carolina for our vacation the week of the 14. And stayed at a place called Four Paws Kingdom Campground ( 4pawskingdom.com. Trudy the Mountain Goat. The highest point of Grandfather Mountain. The view from the Mile High Bridge on GF Mountain. Before our big hike up to the bridge. On the high, scary rock after the bridge. A view of Linville Falls. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
