Exchange In The Hive. A year of adventures with a host student from Pakistan! Monday, June 18, 2012. Golfing on Father's Day. Written by Guest Bloggers:. Golfers ready to conquer the day. Just like Webb Simpson, Seema needed to check to see if there was a break in the green. On her first hole she hit her first Par 3! Debra taking a swing. Watch out Louie! We all lost a few balls to the water, except Louie of course. Golfers tired and ready for a nap. Look at the pretty bundt pans she found. June 4 - 2012.

Exchange In The Hive. A year of adventures with a host student from Pakistan! Friday, November 25, 2011. Spoiler ALERT: Everyone lives! Well - except for those 5 turkeys! I am a little confused how or where to start this posting - the begining of T day, the day before T day, dinner, or what. Freaking out - so I tell her I will bring my turkey down and we will prepare them together. DeeDee's turkey hanging out in a pot waiting for love and butter. Our turkey waiting for the big reveal. We were thrilled to...

Exchange In The Hive. A year of adventures with a host student from Pakistan! Saturday, June 16, 2012. Lamiaa is 18 - well depends on what calendar you use. June 4 - 2012. According to the Islamic calendar Lamiaa Hadi is 18 - However, that isn't the calendar typically used - so she is still 17 until August 7th. Yet, her wonderful host parentes DeeDee and Bob threw her a party to celebrate. She loves the University of Utah Union Building Bowling Alley - so off we went. Seema working on serious. Exchange In The Hive: International goodbye

http://exchangeinthehive.blogspot.com/2013/01/international-goodbye.html

Exchange In The Hive. A year of adventures with a host student from Pakistan! Tuesday, January 1, 2013. In June (2012) Joe and Alex were lovely to host the International Exchange student going away extravaganza! Cammy left first, then Lamiaa, then Gabriel and Seema and last to go to their home countries were Amrin and Khalid. It was hard to let them go but rewarding to know all that they learned and experienced while in the USA. LeAndra, Seema and Raili. Gabriel takes this Grandmother thing seriously!

We're Really Doing This? Say it with a slight tone. Friday, July 13, 2012. Oh, we now have a flock of flamingos that guard the herb garden. But they don't lay any eggs. Also, vote for Ben! We decided to plant our garlic in one bed this year. About 80 plants in this 80 foot section. Just in time for Halloween! Two buckets of green tomatoes. Most of them will most likely go to the chickens. Any ideas on how to use them? Clean beds have cover crops, peas, lettuce, spinach, and carrots.

Fernweh ~
