Upon arriving in Paris, two flights later, we still hadn’t secured a place to stay; everything had happened too quickly to work out all of those details. We’ve been using airbnb. To rent homes and apartments during our visa exits so far and so once in Paris we connected to the internet again, hoping to make a reservation. We were overjoyed to find that a few people who were renting their homes pre-approved us for an arrival that evening!

Desert living for our family of 7. November 4, 2014. November 4, 2014. Laundry for the Saharawi is one of the least desirable household duties according to Adam’s students! We are fortunate to own a laundry machine which cuts the time spent doing laundry by half. I. Spend about 4-5 hours of time engaged in the full process. I am thankful for the “exercise” I do get because of it and for the happiness I feel every time I hear my washing machine doing all the work for me back in America =). Nell, thank you!
