Cables and Posts: March 2011
http://cablesnposts.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 27, 2011. Finally I have something solid to talk about. I’ve been working on a cardigan that I picked off he garnstudio’s website. It was really cool and the moment I saw the photo, I decided that I gotta knit it. It’s a pretty simple design, nothing complex, but the huge cables make it look fantabulous. Http:/ www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php? I hope to finish it by next week. Monday, March 21, 2011. My past work and ideas for giveaway. Of course, it consumes lots of yarn, but i...

http://knitterrificknits.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 23, 2009. Thursday, November 12, 2009. Every once in a while I volunteer to test knit a new pattern. I just did this for the supercool hat Twisted and I'm in love. It was incredibly quick to knit- only took 3 hours start to finish! And it's cabled and thick and warm and gorgeous. I'm saying to hell with holiday knitting and knitting one up for myself in Malabrigo this weekend. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Monday, November 9, 2009. A little break from holiday knitting. I've found a book I ...

Knitterrific: 2010- the year of selfishness
http://knitterrificknits.blogspot.com/2010/02/2010-year-of-selfishness.html
Saturday, February 6, 2010. 2010- the year of selfishness. I haven't updated in ages. Too busy knitting. I've finished a bunch of stuff recently and a lot of it has been for me. Two pairs of mittens, a hat, and even a sweater are all done. I have a few WIP that are for me or my house, too. Here are the mitts and hat. A picture of the sweater will come once my camera's batteries have charged. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Fun in the kitchen and other projects. Ongoing projects and aggravation.

Cables and Posts: One Week Sweater Knitting Challenge - Update
http://cablesnposts.blogspot.com/2013/12/one-week-sweater-knitting-challenge.html
Friday, December 13, 2013. One Week Sweater Knitting Challenge - Update. I think I should have named my blog, Lazy Knitter. As expected, the progress on the cardigan that I started three days ago is painfully slow. I just reached the armhole on day three. It is a very simple pattern of plain stockinette stitch with horizontal stripes. Here's the link to the pattern on ravelry: http:/ www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/f488-baby-and-toddler-striped-cardigan. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). UK lass in US.

MITchick goes to New Zealand: mmm, meat!
http://mitchick.blogspot.com/2009/08/mmm-meat.html
MITchick goes to New Zealand. One mechanical engineering grad student's adventures in academia in Auckland. Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Its Wednesday, meaning that we had the usual EAPSI program reunion at Father Ted's tonight. Mmmm, meat pie with mash and vege! The girls pointed out that last week will be our last meetup, but I'm currently in denial and prefer to say "until we meet again" instead of "goodbye". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). MITchick goes to New Zealand: "...embrace the new..."
http://mitchick.blogspot.com/2009/08/embrace-new.html
MITchick goes to New Zealand. One mechanical engineering grad student's adventures in academia in Auckland. Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Embrace the new.". It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power." - Alan Cohen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). MA, United States.
