Sunday, April 30, 2006. A Mutilation in Chinatown. For those of you who aren't fortunate enough to live in the five borroughs of New York, or, rather, you have the good sense to live somewhere that's not teeming with rats and where your chances of standing next to a tuburcular hobo on a crowded subway car are relativly slim, please allow me to briefly explain the Manhattan subsect known as Chinatown:. Gouts of blood immediatly came out and said, "Hi! The pain was an open-palmed, hysterical slap that buck...

http://zombiefightsshark.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 31, 2006. Dinosaur Jr. Gets Robbed. Does this mean we'll never hear a live version of "Feel the Pain" again? Because I'd be okay with that:. I do love that they got all their gear jacked here in Brooklyn. Because that's what we do to 80's bands who've overstayed their welcome. That's how the Bk rolls. Are you listening, Quiet Riot? Don't come around here no more. You too, Jesus and Mary Chain. Alright, The Pixies can stay. Posted by Clinton at 4:50 PM. Links to this post. It's about redn...

http://exquisitelyboredinnacogdoches.blogspot.com/2006/07/burning-house_18.html
Exquisitely Bored in Nacogdoches. July 18, 2006. Explanation from the July print edition of Buzz Texas. A site-specific artwork/installation by SFA. On the day I went, I had to climb over a gate to get close to Burning House. Dismantled. The house has new boards on the exterior. The windows may have been boarded up. I think the flames are part of a pile of wood just to the left of the house. Very cool - it reminds me of the Inversion. Installation that Houston Art League did last year. The light looks ve...

Exquisitely Bored in Nacogdoches: Willie Nelson's "Crazy"
http://exquisitelyboredinnacogdoches.blogspot.com/2010/11/willie-nelsons-crazy.html
Exquisitely Bored in Nacogdoches. November 27, 2010. Is #85 on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Musically the song is a jazz-pop ballad with country overtones. The complex melody suited Cline's vocal talent perfectly and widened the crossover audience she had established with her prior hits. The lyrics describe the singer's state of bemusement at the singer's own helpless love for the object of his affection. Love the pedal steel. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ghost sign ...
