Tuesday, June 12, 2012. For Memorial Weekend, John and I decided we wanted an adventure- after little thought, we decided a road trip to Michigan! The catch was, each of us promised we wouldn't tell anyone we were coming! We left right after work that Friday afternoon and began our trek! I used to have quite a bit disdain for road trips, but the longer John and I are married, they continue to grow on me! I had quite a bit of work to get done in the car, and John loves to drive- so it all worked out!

Monday, July 30, 2012. The week before we left Greensboro, Sam and Janice Baker were gracious enough to take John and I flying- and letting John pilot the plane! It was a beautiful day for it and we both had so much fun! We took off from the Greensboro airport and it was the first small plane that I had ever flown in (how cool that my first flight was piloted by my husband! Saturday, September 17, 2011. Fun Night with the Boys. I didn't get any pictures (I wish I had! But I had a fun Saturday night last weekend with John and Phil! Both of the guys worked at Rental Works earlier in the day and had to set up a tent at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, Let's Go Racing Boys! Last weekend was John and his friend Phil's birthday weekend. As some of you may know, since moving to North Carolina, John has become quite the NASCAR fan, so what better way to celebrate a birthday than a NASCAR race with friends! Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Who ever said that spring break is only for kids in school? John and I were pretty spoiled Easter weekend and were able to take a trip to Captiva Island, Florida with half of the Jonker family! John's parents rented a house down there and we got to join in on the fun with his parents, the Shattos and Herweyers! Sunday, October 30, 2011. I know that many of you already knew it, but for those of you who didn't, I'll let you in on a little secret- I have the most amazing husband! This past Thursday night he told me to pack my bags for two nights and we were leaving right after work on Friday. I am not one to go into something without knowing as many details as possible, so it was hard for me to not ask a million questions! I took a nap (go figure!
