Today I went for my second visit to the London hospital to see the Response clinical trial team becasue, guess what, at the weekend I found out I was pregnant. A blog about trying to have babies and all that happens along the way. You ovulate 14 days before your period starts…. Which means with a short cycle, sometimes 22 days, I may ovulate as early as day 8, when my period has only just finished. That is not what my temperature data would suggest. This had me slightly confused but keen test out the theory, I was only on day 7 at the time! January 3, 2014. January 3, 2015. In the beginning…. So, we tested out the 14 days before ovulation theory and by day 24 I noted spotting, the same on day 25 and then nothing… I wrote on day 26 “just like December”, and day 28 “sure period will come”. It wasn’t until day 33 (gosh I was way chilled out in those days! That I wrote “still nothing… extra long version of December? I didn’t need to wait. February 3, 2014. January 3, 2015. January 3, 2015. I’m sorry you’re in this limbo land of not fully knowing either way, it’s a really tough place to be. Here for you x. A constant reminder of what is happening. I asked my husband if he was OK this morning, as I am so aware this is so much about me. He said he is and I believe him, mostly. We both have moments when we let ourselves go but we are also very resilient people, able to enjoy, to laugh, to put this thing that we have no control of to one side. One thought on “Blood”.

Sunday, 8 February 2009. 16 weeks 1 day. I haven't updated in ages! Here is our cutie a couple of weeks ago at 14w 5days! I had a scan due to small amount of bleeding again, but everything was fine, I am due for my 20 week scan on the 16th March, but I will be 21 weeks! Baby #4 is on the way. Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Stanley’s Birth Story #4 on 4/4. I had a dr. appt and my dr. checked me to see if I was dilated. Stanley was still really high and I was almost 2 cm dilated. My dr. was going to be out of the office all the next week, so he told me to come in to the hospital on Friday the 11. Child born on 4/4.
