Fredag 11. mai 2012. Nordkapp - Målkapp - Sluttkapp. No er ein lang skitur ved vegs ende. Med eitt sto me ved havet, då var det slutt på skiføret. Førre oppdatering kom frå Kautokeino. Derifrå fulde me Kautokeinoelva nordover. Eit par dagar var det mildt, og trått føre, og tanken om å sykle dei siste mila var freistande. Skiføret kan ikkje halde seg i slikt mildver tenkte me. Likevel fortsette me på ski, og over natta kom vinteren attende! Ein betre avslutning på ein lang skitur kunne me ikkje fått!
