Cookies By Kristin: December 2008
http://cookiesbykristin.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 13, 2008. And along came my cousin with a request for some cookies for some family members and friends. Decorated cookies no less, in the shapes of snowmen and house painter themes. Yay! Now for a closer look at my snowmen army:. This design features a purple hat, done with a small star tip, and embellished with purple buttons centered with silver dragees. This gentelman is wearing a green hat, adorned with more silver dragees. His wooly red scarf was made using the small star tip.

Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Just wanted to post the cookies that I made for Father's Day. Nothing too special- wish the pictures were a little better, but overall I think I'm happy with the way they came out. Next up will be some Lime Sandwich cookies with a lime pistachio filling. I can't wait to try them :). Sunday, June 1, 2008. The recipe comes from Better Homes and Gardens Biggest Book of Cookies. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Princess, Prom and Wedding Gowns. Sunday, September 7, 2008. Peanut Butter Cup Shortbread. In the words of Rachel Ray- "Yum-O". These are absolutely delicious. I'm not ususally a giant peanut butter lover, but I totally love peanut butter cups so I had to give this recipe a try. They were very easy to make- the hardest part was cutting up all of the mini peanut butter cups. I can't wait to make these again, especially for holiday or birthday gifts. Cookies By Kristin: New Year, New Plans
http://cookiesbykristin.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-year-new-plans.html
Saturday, January 17, 2009. New Year, New Plans. Boy, Am I glad that 2008 is finally behind us! What a tough and sometimes rotten year it was. On the plus side, my husband and I made it through our first anniversary, moved into a lovely apartment, and decided once and for all that I want to start a business. On the rotten side, we've had to deal with car troubles, a lack of clients on his side, and in general a very nasty decline in our finances. But on to bigger and better with 2009! Top Five Cherry Pie.

All in all they were good, and with a little fine tuning I think they might make it to the next menu. Oooohhh. carrot cake cookies sound absolutely delicious! Especially with cream cheese filling! You should definitely include those on your menu! October 13, 2008 at 1:46 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Princess, Prom and Wedding Gowns. Top Five Cherry Pie.

Ran a contest for two lucky winners of my peanut butter cup shortbread. The contest was a great success and the suggestions from her readers were awesome. I can't wait to try to make some of their suggestions. If anyone is interested you can view my etsy store at http:/ cookiesbykristin.etsy.com/. Now I know who to call for my holiday gifts!

http://cookiesbykristin.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. I found this recipe in the Better Homes and Gardens 2007 Christmas Cookie magazine. At the time I had plans to make at least a few of the recipes, but got distracted by other baking plans. so I tucked it away until now. I think my problem comes from the fact that I don't really know what shortbread is supposed to taste like. It's been so long since I've had it, prior to making some, that I didn't know what to expect. But for my first attempt I'm happy with the results. So much...
