September 17, 2016. Santa Ema Reserva Merlot 2013. This is a luscious, fruit-forward merlot that packs a lot of punch for the price. I ordered this from wine.com for $14.99. On the nose – it’s not super complicated. But as soon as it hit my tongue, I exclaimed “Wow! That’s good.”. I would say that this wine would be fairly versatile in food-pairing.
