http://www.booksandtrips.com/2015/12/books-of-month-december-2015.html
Books of the month. Books of the Month - December 2015. Wednesday, December 30, 2015. His year is quickly coming to an end, and so is my reading list for December. My self imposed challenge on Shelfari. Was to read 40 books in 2015, and I came a little short of that goal, as life, filled with work, school and social obligations came in the way. I promised myself to make amends in 2016, when I plan on hitting the mark of 50 books per year. Fingers crossed! 1 Erika Johansen - The Invasion of the Tearling.

Books of the month. Books of the Month - March 2016. Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Ith a bit of delay caused by the beautiful spring weather and a wonderful trip to Vienna, here are my reads for the month of March. It's so hard to pick a favorite, so maybe you can help: have you read any of them? Which one you liked most? 1 Elif Shafak - The Bastard of Istanbul. Throughout the book, each chapter is named after a food or drink, except for the last one, to emphasize and develop the motif of this dessert. I like...

Books of the month. Barcelona - Food diaries. Monday, November 30, 2015. Am going to admit this: I like food and I like it a lot! And what other better way to immerse yourself in a culture, than sampling what it has to offer from a culinary point of view. With heavy Mediterranean influences, Catalan cuisine is characterized by fresh ingredients, vegetables, pork, seafood, lots of olive oil and spices. For a list of my favorite goodies sampled while vacationing in lovely Barcelona, please read below:.

Books of the month. Belgium - Food Diaries. Sunday, March 13, 2016. Rom historical riches to architectural gems, Belgium has it all - but if you're not interested in any of them, the foods and drinks will make you change your mind about this destination. It is said that Belgian food is served in the quantity of German dishes (true), but with the quality of French cuisine (also true). On my most recent trip to Brussels. What were my favorite bites of Belgian goodness? Cooked with sliced or minced garlic&#...

Books of the month. Airbnb - My First Experience. Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Inding affordable accommodation is key when traveling on a budget. So far, I used to go straight to Booking.com when planning a vacation, but on my recent Brussels. Trip, after weighing in the pros and cons, I chose to try Airbnb for the first time. First of all: what exactly is Airbnb? I was iffy about Airbnb when I first found out about it, having legit questions like: Is it safe? The Airbnb booking process. He waited for us a...

Bruges - Venice of the North | Books and Trips
http://www.booksandtrips.com/2016/03/bruges-venice-of-north.html
Books of the month. Bruges - Venice of the North. Sunday, March 06, 2016. Ruges is the quintessential Belgian experience and must not be missed if you ever find yourself in this corner of the world. A fairy tale town, lined with buildings that seem made out of gingerbread, richly adorned facades and glistening canals, it is a northern alternative to the overly saturated Venice. What did we do on our day trip in Bruges? Was the first place we were drawn to, a large complex made of red brick and lush green...

Books of the month. Brussels - Getting there and getting around. Saturday, January 23, 2016. Getting there was easy and inexpensive - we snagged a bargain on a Ryanair. Charleroi Airport is 55 km away from Brussels and we traveled from it to Brussels Midi / Zuid train station by Flibco shuttle bus. We rented an Airbnb. Apartment, which was a great fit for us. Brussels hotels tend to be expensive and for the price o...
