http://mccolms.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
The McColm family. living by faith! Monday, June 30, 2014. Our pastor preached a message that was very inspiring to me on Sunday. He was preaching from Ephesians 5:15-17. Be very careful, then, how you live. 8212;not as unwise but as wise,. Making the most of every opportunity,. Because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Here are the highlights from his message:. In a good, moral way- use every moment! The McColm family... living by faith!: How Parenting Feels to Me...
http://mccolms.blogspot.com/2015/06/how-parenting-feels-to-me.html
The McColm family. living by faith! Tuesday, June 30, 2015. How Parenting Feels to Me. I have thought about parenting and what I could compare it to. In my mind I compare it to playing on a basketball team, and I would like to explain why. (I've never played on a basketball team and really know very little about the sport, but this is how it seems to me.). You're on the team! You thought you could be good at this game? This is what parenting feels like to me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Picture W...

The McColm family... living by faith!: There's Hope in Front of Me
http://mccolms.blogspot.com/2014/08/theres-hope-in-front-of-me_30.html
The McColm family. living by faith! Saturday, August 30, 2014. There's Hope in Front of Me. God has been speaking an anthem of hope. To me lately. I see the repetition of hope. This is a poem I wrote in Jr. High, and later, as adults, my life long friend made it into calligraphy and framed it for me. "Keep hope deep within your heart. When you are put on the edge of a cliff, Hope will pull you back up. Hope is what keeps us all alive.". Learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow.".

http://mccolms.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
The McColm family. living by faith! Thursday, December 19, 2013. Next, this coming Monday Mike will be leaving to join her in Rwanda and prepare for the team's arrival (the team heads to Rwanda on December 26th). It is going to be strange to have the two of them missing on Christmas Day. We prepared for this by having our own "Mini Christmas" with them on December 16th. But I have still resolved in my mind that next year we will ALL be together on December 25th! Nice that my mom could join us too! Pictur...

The McColm family... living by faith!: Embracing the Hard Times
http://mccolms.blogspot.com/2014/12/embracing-hard-times.html
The McColm family. living by faith! Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Embracing the Hard Times. On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, our church had it's annual Thanksgiving testimony service (we call it the "yeah God! Service). As the day approached I was thinking about it, and asking God what I should share. I really felt like God wanted me to go back to the word he gave me at the beginning of this year: EMBRACE. Every circumstance and every person in my life as a gift from him. I understand it like this:.

The McColm family... living by faith!: April 2014
http://mccolms.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
The McColm family. living by faith! Saturday, April 26, 2014. Recently I have been feeling that God is prompting me to write more. One of the ways I have been feeling this "push" is through a certain song that comes on the Christian radio stations. It is by Francesca Battistelli and the chorus has a refrain that says, " write your story, write your story. One morning I was telling my husband about this (this song has been pushing me for a long time now, and they keep playing it! It was THAT song! I still...
