My Poor Style | Exploring the Infinite Abyss
https://exploringtheinfiniteabyss.wordpress.com/2011/01/14/my-poor-style
Exploring the Infinite Abyss. One Day at a Time. Easter: Not an Easter Blog. January 14, 2011. I have also realized that my subject matter is also forced. I really enjoy writing about life’s truths. Really, the things I think I write best will go into a new project I am starting with Alex. The first couple of essays, however, didn’t feel right. They were forced, but there was more wrong with them. Instead of finding truth in my life, I’m forcing my life into truths. August 4, 2013 at 6:59 pm.

Exploring the Infinite Abyss. One Day at a Time. Laquo; New Blog. December 31, 2011. Most recently, I went through Acts for Advent. Though I posted for 28 days, I consider it to be one project, one post. So if I were to do that again this year, that would count as one for the month…not 28. So, last year was a challenge. This year will be, too. 1) Write nearly every day. Post one project a month on Thoughts in the Stillness. 2) Read 50 books. At least 30 that I haven’t read before. Enter your comment here.

Exploring the Infinite Abyss. One Day at a Time. January 6, 2011. I just realized that I’ve used the word “write” and its variants a lot in these last few posts. I Do Not Write Fiction. January 5, 2011. I do not write fiction. But I would like to learn. I would like to write fiction. A New Year, A New Life. January 1, 2011. 8212;—–. Exploring the Infinite Abyss. One Day at a Time. Laquo; Just Write. August 23, 2011. When I was younger, I hated getting kisses from my grandparents. They were wet and sloppy on my cheek and my arm would instantly wipe away any residue left from saliva or lipstick. I began to push my arms out, trying to keep them back. Soon, it became apparent I didn’t enjoy getting a kiss when receiving a hello or goodbye hug. And that is just what it is: a lie. No matter what, He continues calling, hoping, and waiting.

Exploring the Infinite Abyss. One Day at a Time. July 13, 2011. Huh…Saturday was a very busy day on my blog. I have no clue why, but there was a huge spike in readers that day. Where that is a valid idea, it keeps me from putting words on a page. My reading, my writing, and my living have slacked lately. Interestingly enough, this is most evident in the fact it has been over a month since I have visited The Cup, the coffee shop I frequent…er…used to. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Soul with a body: March 2010
http://amandajane7.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Soul with a body. More than skin deep. Thursday, March 25, 2010. SoI just pledged to participate it "One Day Without Shoes".and I'm pumped! There's a lot of information on the site about all this stuff.but I want to share some of it here. Most people wouldn't go barefoot all day for nothing.well.there are a few reasons. This movement is to raise awareness of the need for shoes in developing countries. In some developing nations, children must walk for miles to school, clean water and to seek medical help.

Soul with a body. More than skin deep. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. A few Millenia later. I haven't been on here in AGES. I have been both super busy.and just generally burnt out/not feelin like doing much. (seems like there is a direct relationship between those things.so I'm hoping they will change soon.). Either way.it would be nice if you would pray for me. I need some encouragement. I hope. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A few Millenia later. The week is over!

Soul with a body. More than skin deep. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. The end of August? We officially started our school year hours yesterday (had a week of planning and cleaning, etc.) and it was a SLOW day. I don't think we passed 35 kids yesterday. I'm kinda stressed out because they decided to cut hours this year.this time last year I was getting about 30 hours a week and now I'll be down to 21 on average. I can't think of much else that is going on right now, but I will try to be more consistent in my p...

I got a ride home from the parents of the couple I live with and surprised my three younger sisters. It was a good time :). Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Last night two of my coworkers complained on and on about having to come to work today because they wanted to make it home. Soul with a body. More than skin deep. Monday, May 17, 2010. Dreams are strange things. I got a text from my sister today telling me about a dream she had. From time to time I get these messages about dreams of her boyfriend who died in 2007 and my heart breaks for her. Jesse was like a little (but larger) brother. His family was like the other part of our family, and if they hadn't moved so far away it would be easy to say they still are.but I don't get to see much of any of them now. Seeing the willing...

Soul with a body. More than skin deep. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. It is good to remember what drew you in.what captured you. Tonight we had a meeting at work to talk about our weekly (and school-year round) Jesus time with the kids ("Hiptown").planning stuff that we want to cover with them. Our desire is to introduce them to the reality of the person of Jesus. So we talked about how He captured us. The witness of others. Seeing true "life" in others. Jesus captured me through a song and its words. The we...

Soul with a body. More than skin deep. Friday, January 15, 2010. Either way I'm just sick of people being jerks to each other.and I don't want to deal with it. Who said I was qualified for this anyway? Note to self, and other concerned citizens: don't become a youth leader until you really know what you're getting yourself into). Thursday, 21 May 2015. Bee again, and back to my tales of Paris! We were adamant during our stay in Paris not to fit into the usual tourist mindset. We didn't want to visit famous landmarks because they were just that. So we avoided a few of the popular attractions such as the Arc De Triomphe. And the Champs Elysee. Instead did some research before and decided that instead of the classic Louvre we'd go to the Musee d'Orsay. Dinner by the Eiffel Tower. Dinner with a view. It was the real experience we had...

Today would have been mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary. I didn't have to work today and wanted out of the house. Dad wanted to stay in the air conditioning. So he stayed and I went to the coast to escape the 100 degrees and residual smoke from a 70 acre fire south of town. I drove south past Monterey to Garrapata Beach. I survived ...
