Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Post Op Day 1. Well, it's a done deal. I am now officially a "one kidney" woman. The pre-op experience was professional and effecient. I woke up from anesthesia just like I was waking from a nap. My friend, Cecile is a scrub tech. She advised me to tell the anesthesiologist that I didn't want to be nauseous when I woke up. Really? June 30, 2010 at 10:59 PM. Jan, you are awesome! Praying for a quick and complete recovery. It will be great to see you soon. Love, David.

I have to admit that even though I was supposed to be NPO (nothing by mouth) since midnight, I had two sips of coffee at 0500. It was imperative for my good being! Saturday, 12 June 2010. So apparently I missed a lesson in 'sewing 101'.it has been lovingly pointed out that Dariah's pattern is up-side down. I didn't notice it until I put them on her! So I will be paying closer attention next time I cut fabric! Thanks to those who looked that close (dad and J)! Brought to YOU by onHISturf - dvp. Friday, 11 June 2010. Friday, 11 June 2010. I found some polar fleece material on sale shortly after getting here so I went ahead and got enough to make PJs for the kids. When my sewing machine finally arrived I got to work! It was a really simple pattern and each pair only took me about 4 hours total.minus any interuptions, of which there are always many :)!
