Call for Cult - Gaulish Gods
http://gaulish-gods.livejournal.com/1666.html
At June 16th, 2007 (10:09 pm). I apologise in advance for the way this is spamming some of you. I moderate a Gaulish reconstructionist group here on LJ, and I'm currently trying to network people who want to talk privately about cult practices of a particular divinity. The object is not to try to start up organisations or 'temples' to deities, but aid the development of modern liturgy within peer-groups. There is a post here. Truth - honour - love.

Gallo-Roman Recon. kinda. Credo In Unum Webum. January 7th, 2010. Recent archaeological excavations at the W3C site at Sophia Antipolis, France have revealed a Roman inscription which shows that the W3C principles of an open, international and accessible Web predate W3C by almost two millenia. You can see the stone in its geographic context. Of 43 37' 1.54" N, 7 4' 4.75" E on Panoramio. I have a question about your approach to Gaulish Reconstructionism. 1 A pre-roman Celtic reconstructionist. 2 a gallo-roman syncretist. Jan 15th, 2008 04:52 am (UTC). For myself I'm more gallo-roman, but I don't see that as any more syncretic than any other options. Jan 15th, 2008 07:50 am (UTC). Jan 16th, 2008 03:54 am (UTC). Feb 8th, 2008 1...

The role of mythology. Over on the Gaulish Reconstructionist Forum. What role does mythology play for you, and what mythology would that be? I think it was Scaevola who said that there are three ways of apprehending the gods: that of poets, that of philosophers, and that of the state. For us, we can add two more – that of Christian monks, and that of sculptors and mosaicists. For my own part, I think I resemble Eyðimörk. For that reason, I generally prefer to focus on a slightly later period, where deiti...

Tear me to pieces - level of criticism: Harsh. Of feathers and poetry. She hushed her way. Into the room;. As rain not yet fallen,. And asked for a poem. Of the leather bound books. That winked at me. I gave her a feather,. Take this, it's a poem! It's not a poem. But it is. It Is. It has take off on flights of fancy,. Borne the burden of flapping metaphors,. Hovered over the images of a bird's eye view;. It is more a poem. Than I can ever produce.". She twitched her eyes. And in a voice indignant,.

I went hunting bears in the dark, and it changed me quite a bit. . . - Chronarchy. August 26th, 2013. 01:53 pm - I went hunting bears in the dark, and it changed me quite a bit. . . At Summerland last weekend, I had the privilege of having two friends put me through a rite of passage that was, in many ways, just kinda perfect. On Friday night, while most folks were up at the bardic performance night, I was led into the darkness by. S daughters (also in amazingly cute bear cloaks) proceeded to honor the S...

Mere Minutes to Midnight: orangesex
http://orangesex.livejournal.com/8173.html
Mere Minutes to Midnight. Mere minutes to midnight. On a cold December eve,. Flustered beats the heart. Of the one who surely felt. Heat of blood upon her lips. And found it was a ghost. Of a cold February eve,. When the ground was white. And the heavens glistered,. Mere minutes to midnight,. When hot blood rushed. To her frozen thighs. A tactile memory, lingering. On the one who surely felt. Heat of blood upon her lips. And found it was a ghost. Mere minutes to midnight. On a mild May eve.

Otyg - I trollberg och skog. I would that I was a droplet amidst the bludgeoning sea:. Tantamount and inconceivable; no obligation, sans blame. I would that I was lifted, by the sun, through the air. And fell to the ground, like rain, in dutiful unity. I would that I was a droplet amidst the morning dew. On the bare osier twig waking from the winter cold. I would that I was a droplet, like all other droplets,. But unlike all other droplets. On the bare osier twig waking from the winter cold.
