My techniques of restoration are traditional, from the glue, polishes, methods and tools. A 19 Century French Guilt mirror, I added new tips to the leaves in the correct timber, applied gesso and gilded. A Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier. A 19 Century Mahogany Display cabinet, severe water damage, warping and broken fretwork as a result of the Christchurch Earthquakes. A French Ormolu writing desk. Veneer damage due to water from a leaking vase. Re-adhering the loose brass mouldings.

A badly damage Slate Mantle Clock. A Georgian chest of drawers during a major rebuild. The piece below is a very high end early 19th Century Secretaire Bookcase made from Satinwood and Cuban Mahogany, it received severe damage as a result of the Christchurch Earthquakes. It arrived to me in numerous containers, boxes and packets. The decorative veneer was very carefully removed to allow the badly broken substructure to be repaired. The Glazing bars are refitted into the door frame.
