The moon was certainly bright on the cold, clear night we had on the Gulf Coast last night. I’ve never had any luck getting eclipse shots, and did not want to get up early enough to try. The peak of the eclipse was supposed to happen at the exact minute that the moon was supposed to set in our region – 6:44 am! It’s Time to Head to the Beach! May 16, 2014.
