Days and Nights of JKZ. Sunday, May 03, 2015. The big event in March was the make-up Super Bowl visit to my house. And other fun to be had at the house. But it was also a beautiful day so there was fun to be had at the park. It was all quite exhausting. J had a visit at his Grammy's. Again, quite exhausting. Dinner at the Indian place. Enjoying Elaine's new house. We had some nice walks in the park thinking that the snow was done. Then we got a little bit of snow. And then even more snow! Snow on my tree.

Days and Nights of JKZ. Sunday, June 02, 2013. Wow, it is almost summer. You can't tell by all of these photos but most of them involve baseball, so that means summer, right? On May 1st this showed up in our alley. Jackson had some more baseball practices. I know it looks like he is doing it wrong, but this is all part of the training. Then he had his first game and the whole gang showed up. Jack wasn't into the game too much; neither was Megan. Even Jack had a little fun. Jackson loves him some Jack.

Days and Nights of JKZ. Tuesday, October 29, 2013. As with most months this year, I need to move the last few days of the month to the beginning of the next month. It would be nice it the universe could just take care of this for me, but no, I have to do it myself once again. So look for Halloween fun in DC in November. He is really missing Sam. FaceTime has been hit and miss, but texting seems to be working. He spent some time just hanging out with mommy. We bought a Halloween costume. And jump some more.

Days and Nights of JKZ. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. So the problem with 2013 is that December started before Thanksgiving weekend had ended. So I went to pick up this cute little shaggy boy from his Grandma's. And what does he do, he shoves his foot in my face. It is a good think I love this foot. It was nice enough in early December to run outside a little bit. I did some cleaning and got rid of the Lego table. Jackson did some more baking and such in an after school program with one of his past teachers.

Wednesday, August 22, 2007. Party in New York. We all traveled to Rome, N.Y. for Melody's wedding. All my children, grand-children and great-grandchildren were in attendance. But we only got one picture of all of us together. I am very happy that we got at least that one. We were able to do a casino trip at Turning Stone Casino on Friday afternoon while the younger set took the youngest set to the zoo. As much as I love travelling and being with my whole family, you still can't beat home sweet home.

Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Mom has had another busy day but she is still in the same physical place. A few doctors talked about her moving to another floor today, and Adrienne had her all packed up and ready to go at about 11am, but I am here now (7:30pm) and we are still packed and ready to go. The surgeon has still not come down so we are still not sure about the cultures that were taken from her shoulder. But her white count is way down (around 9 last time I heard) so that is very good news.

The hospital actually had free meals in the cafeteria today, which was really nice since nothing else is open. I went home to sleep at around 10am and came back around 5:30pm.
