Hello everybody, so we've made it through the challenge, and today the last day being a manicure of choice. However we decided that between us we'd choose a manicure from one of our challenge buddies to re-create. Many of these are DIY projects that look oh so easy but turn out to be nightmares. There's actually blogs dedicated to people's hilarious attempts at these "easy" activities. My favorite is this one about Cookie Monster cupcakes, since this is exactly how all of my attempts at decorating end up. Suggested making a shadow box for them all. Brilliant!

Friday, July 5, 2013. A few months ago I bought a bunch of nail foil. From the Born Pretty Store. I've never used this stuff before, but the site has application instructions and a video t utorial. The video made this look super simple, but I had some difficulties with it. I think my major problem was getting the base polish just the right amount of sticky so that it'd pull the foil to it without being too wet. I guess I need to practice a little more. But not today!
