Saturday, February 23, 2013. In case you hadn't heard, we had a baby! It has been a crazy couple of months. Our son Reed was born unexpectedly 3.5 weeks early. I was due December 9th and he joined us on November 14th. We had originally thought I was due November 25th, so who knows. Maybe the first due date was more correct. Wednesday, January 23, 2013. James, almost 16 months! He loves to read books! James constantly has a bruise or something on his forehead. It seems to me that it keeps happening in the same spot. He also has a nice scar on his eyebrow (thanks Gma Rita! I never thought I’d have a blonde child, let alone two of them. His hair looks a lot like little Preston’s did at this age. This year Preston wanted to go to Great Wolf Lodge for his birthday, and since we didn’t make Disneyworld this year due to a new baby, we thought the GWL would be a good replacement. We were right! Sunday, January 5, 2014. Can you believe this little dude is one already? I sure can't. This year has flown by! Reed is such a good kid. He has been constantly sick this winter, and despite that he is still a very happy boy. He adores Addie and loves to imitate whatever she is doing. They make each other laugh so much. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Polos and plaid shorts. So I'm terrible at blogging these days. But our latest news is that we're having a baby boy! He is due December 9th. We are so excited! Tuesday, August 28, 2012. First Day of School 2012. Still catching up on the blog…. 8220;It’s the most wonderful time of the year…” BACK TO SCHOOL! If any of you remember that Staples commercial you know what I am talking about. So we have a 5th grader (Emma), a 3rd grader (Preston), a 2nd grader (Evelyn) and a preschooler (William)… and James gets lots of time with mommy. The kids were excited to go back (but not as excited as we were for them to go back). Evelyn and Ms. Harris. Mrs Hodges and Preston.

Life is Full of Adventures. Friday, May 17, 2013. And to that I respond. I grew up in Kansas where it was humid so much of the time. So, I literally am LOVING being in humidity again. The apartments we are in are fun. There are plenty of dogs here. Which can make for interesting potty trips for Gus and Cozy. They love to now take their time and SNIFF everything. Quite annoying but it's alright. This post isn't about the dogs, it's about the Kitchen. I secretly, and also not so secretly love to cook.

Life is Full of Adventures. Thursday, February 21, 2013. A little bit of February. This past month has been a little. Even Gus wanted to get outta town! He didn't end up getting out of town though. Only the Hubby and I did. First things first though. This month I put on a baby shower for a really good friend of mine. It was Jungle Themed for a Boy. Here are some pictures from the fun event! The It's a Boy Banner I made. It turned out so darling! My first diaper cake that I have ever made. All ready to go!
