Wednesday, May 26, 2010. It's been an awful 2 days. Blakeley had her tonsils and adenoids removed yesterday. This is her just after she came out of surgery.pitiful huh? Next came the recovery room. When they. Her first IV. They wrapped in it gauze so she couldn't see it when she woke up. Now I know why.it looked terrible! Thank you to all of our family and friends who have prayed and lifted her up to God. She's home safe now.and we love you all. Mama, what's that thing? YeahI'm that thing right now.".

Saturday, July 31, 2010. Is it really August already? One thing I can assure you of.is that I will NEVER complain about freezing Winter weather again. The heat is vicious here, and for the first time in my life, I'm ready for cold weather. I stepped out today to check the mail and was soaking wet before I made it to the end of the driveway.
